I make custom purses and custom 1 1/2" straps and these Button Studs work perfect every time. First they are solid, beefy, and heavy.... not to be compared to cheap ones. The screw is a M4-70 if you need longer screws and is a bigger screw to really withstand any force put on it. Impossible to break. I repaired a designer handbag from Switzerland with these screws. It looks beautiful and is very sturdy. No one can tell that the hardware holding the straps is not original. The only tools I needed were a small phillips head screwdriver to tighten up the screws and a pocket knife to make the buttonholes.

I ordered and received 30 buttons and screws. I grabbed two sets at random and was able to easily screw it together using my fingers. This product looks great and I no doubt will find uses for 30 of these sometime in the future.

These were perfect for my leather cuff bracelets.

They add a nice touch to my leather pieces. Be sure to use Lock-tite to keep them tight.

Great for journal closures, just add ribbon to opposite side, back, of cover (in an eyelet.)
