turntable for my new 25L microwave oven. Fits perfectly.

I often find that when I decide to put the glass microwave base plate in the dishwasher I need it ten minutes later. I also have a disproportionate fear of dropping the thing on it's journey to and from being washed. This spare plate solves both issues.Ordering the correct size was easy because I still have the intact original but I suppose could be a little trickier if you have broken and disposed of the one that came with your oven. Talking of which, the plate that came with my microwave ( Cheapo supermarket brand) is a fair bit thicker and heavier than this one. I don't really expect that to make any difference to it's performance as this one seems adequate for the use.I was very happy to see the plate fit onto the three central lugs without too much play and it revolved just perfectly. It gets top marks for compatibility with my oven and to all intents and purposes is an ideal substitute for the original.Value wise at £12.99 (at time of review) I am struggling a little to give the plate 5 stars. This is based on the cost of my 800 watt oven at £35. However I do realise that spares are often disproportionately expensive in relation to the whole bundle and if you have a machine which is otherwise functional and you are fond of it, then perhaps it's not too great a price to pay.For me it gives the convenience of never being without a plate and also the insurance of a spare if I ever was to drop the other when moving it to and fro for washing.
