Ultimate Metallic Ink Pads Tsukineko Pigment Ink Pad, Bronze

Terrible quality - just went to use these but has since passed the return date or I would be asking for my money back. I had been using a green colour 'Versacraft' brand pad I picked up elsewhere and with these metalics (bronze & copper) I chose to pay a bit more for quality. Sadly mistaken. The ink is very tacky and viscous (fresh out of the celophane so can't have dried up) and so it didn't cover my whole stamp area (2-3 inches long) evenly, and you would practically need to roller it onto them to achieve an even finish transfer. It came out patchy again and again, same with the other colour i bought at the same time. By contrast the other pad from Versacraft appeared more liquid (leaked a small amount out of the sides when pressed with force) and seemed to achieve even coverage much more reliably. If I hadn't tried two different brands I would have blamed the stamp. It's a shame because the colours are nice. £10 wasted. Won't bother paying extra next time.
