Good anti chafing cream and muscle recovery set
There are plenty of options out there for anti chafing cream and this is quite a decent one. Good for exercise eg in the gym or for funning and cycling. The muscle recovery gel has magnesium which I do sometimes take as a supplement. Handy to have for after a shower say when aching muscles may need a combination of things to help soothe, calm and recover. Not the cheapest set but as it is ethically produced with natural ingredients you get what you pay for.

Great little helpers for indoor and outdoor cycling
I exercise on my spin bike and an hour on it can be quite gruelling on the bum. I have used chamois cream in the past but didn't like the sticky feeling. The Surpass pack contains a 170ml chamois cream tube and a 200ml magnesium recovery gel. They contain natural ingredients and are not animal tested. The chamois cream has a cooling and anti-chafing effect. I personally apply it directly on the skin before I put on my padded shorts. It can be used on the shorts instead. No sticky feeling I'm glad to report.I'm a fan of magnesium and take it in different forms for sleep and exercise. The recovery gel contains magnesium, zinc and copper. I use it post exercise after a shower. You need to rub it on the skin for two minutes. When it comes to tight muscles, every little help and the gel is now part of my routine together with stretches.I love the Surpass pack and can recommend it.

Helps keep the soreness at bay
This product is marketed for long distance cyclists, which I am not. I mainly cycle when commuting to work, which is only 25 minutes each way. Even so, when you've done it for a few days in a row you start to feel the rub, so anything that helps is welcome. To me, it seems like the chamois cream helps. I'm not 100% convinced about the efficacy of the recovery gel, but I'm still using it anyway, just in case (plus it smells really good). This set of chamois cream and recovery gel is selling for £23.74 at the time of this review. The price is marginally high, but the bottles are also fairly large. I've not used anything that goes by the name of chamois cream before, so I don't know how much it usually goes for.Overall, I'm happy to give this four stars

Excellent set for cyclists or runners
This makes a great gift or useful purchase to yourself.Basically, what you have here is an anti-chafing solution and a recovery cream. The anti-chafing solution works by giving you a slight barrier to your skin and by lubricating the skin slightly so that you massively reduce the chances of you suffering the dreaded results of friction. The recovery solution is designed to help relax your muscles. Unlike many heat style recovery creams, this one is actually a cooling solution and will make your muscles/joints feel cold once you apply it.I found that both were very useful and I was really happy with the amount you got in each one. This should last a good amount of time.

Performant and long lasting Chamois and a nice recovery serum, at a price
Tested on my home Garmin TACX bike with both a bib and regular shorts, this Chamois does a very good job of keeping soreness down and giving that all important layer between your soft tissue and the hard saddleIt didn't feel slimy or unpleasant on and worked across the skin evenly and with a very thin layer across the shorts pad, you're good to go.After an hour+ of solid training remained free of any discomfort at all and the with my padded shorts (rather than the bib) the Chamois didn't appear to contribute to any excess movement of the pad - as I've had with other greasier cremesThe smell is something akin to a nice expensive suntan lotionWith the recovery gel, this is a clear gel that goes on really easily, spreads evenly and massages in really well and smells absolutely amazing.. I can't speak to it's claims about recovery too much but I'd use this after a shower just to smell nice! The only downside to these obviously premium products are it's priceBut even for marginal increases, cyclists never shy away from dumping trucks of cash on their sport :)If you're serious about it and want the ultimate in comfort with price less of a concern, this is a fine product

Perfect Cycling Companion: Chamois Cream & Recovery Cream Twin Pack
As an avid cyclist, I've had my fair share of experiences with various cycling products, and this twin pack of chamois cream and recovery cream stands up really well against them.Firstly, the chamois cream: It's a game-changer for long rides. The anti-chafing properties are top-notch, providing a soothing layer of protection between the skin and the chamois pad. Even during intense rides, this cream significantly reduces friction and discomfort, making those miles smoother and more enjoyable, especially when you're in a static position on an indoor bike (in the British winter, from September to May). Now, onto the recovery cream: Post-ride recovery is as crucial as the ride itself. This cream has become a part of my routine. Its soothing formula works wonders on tired muscles, offering a comforting sensation that aids in recovery. I've noticed a tangible decrease in post-ride soreness and fatigue since incorporating it into my regimen. How much of this is placebo effect, I am not sure, but I have convinced myself it works! The twin pack is a fantastic deal, offering both essential creams for cyclists in one purchase for the price of a single tube of my regular chamois cream.Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just starting, investing in this twin pack is a no-brainer. These creams are not only effective but also gentle on the skin, which is a huge plus.

Okay
I have been a casual non-Lycra wearing cyclist for many of my 60 years and I have never suffered from chafing. This duo pack from Surpass of chamois cream and magnesium recovery gel certainly smells very pleasant by to an amateur cyclist, the cost of nearly £27 is jarring. Maybe my son, who is a die-hard extreme down-hiller, will show the products more love?
