Blocks heat and rain
Works well in rain and bright sun - blocks water and heat. Haven’t had a chance to use it in wind yet. Auto open is firm but not dangerously fast. Ribs seem sturdier than those on any umbrella I’ve used before. Roll it up tight enough to secure the velcro-type straps and it will go back into the carrying sleeve easily. The silver coating on the outside may blind people sitting behind you in sunlight.

This is the best!
I have nothing at all negative to say about this umbrella, absolutely nothing. It provides plenty of sun and rain cover, the handle is sturdy and plenty long enough, comfortable to hold, light weight without feeling cheap and it looks very nice too. Everybody that sees mine wants one. Worth every penny. Love it!

Muy buen producto
Igual que en la imagen, los materiales con los que está construida se excelente calidad, la uso todos los días, ya que tengo problemas en la piel, y sigue intacta, la tela y el mecanismo. 100% recomendada

Works in Rainy Weather
I have yet to use it in the sun, but it’s great for standing around in the rain. It feels sturdy, not too heavy, and didn’t turn inside out when I opened it in the wind.

Total sunlight blocker.
Effective shade, no light gets through at all. It is noticeably cooler underneath the canopy. This is the 54” arch, 49” width umbrella. 49” is perfect for me. Opens easily although closing it takes some serious hand strength to get it to latch. It weights 1.5 pounds, 1.5 pounds is heavier than you think when on a long walk. I would like to find a saddle for it that I can strap onto my body so then all I would have to do is balance it. On a windy day it’s tiring. The canopy has a pretty large surface area for the wind to get ahold of. I may get the smallest size just for windy days. I also own the G4Free 68” version and it is massive. It appears that all of these on Amazon were built in the same plant. This Ninemax is built exactly like my G4Free. The frames on both are a poor design and will not last. My G4free frame broke after 20 gentle uses. The G4Free warranty is only 90 days, the Ninemax does not even have a warranty. That’s how little confidence they have that these will last. But there are no alternative choices out there. I have a 40” Totes rain umbrella from 2010 that still works just fine so I know it’s possible to build an umbrella that lasts. Unfortunately you will roast under one of those on a hot day. This Ninemax or the G4Free are both effective solar blocks and will give you pretty substantial heat relief so just buy it and enjoy it but don’t be surprised when it breaks.

Large golf umbrella with great UV protection...
Umbrellas (or bumbershoots as we call them) are a fact of life here in the PNW. Very few events are canceled here because of rain, so we make the most of situations. I saw this umbrella and had to give it a try - because the sun here can get as bright as the rain can get heavy. I'm not disappointed! Here's what I like (the 68-inch model):- The size will easily fit two adults sitting or walking together.- The material is absolutely waterproof, regardless of the ferocity of the rainfall.- When the sun comes out, it provides great shade and (presumably) UV protection.- In addition to two Velcro straps to keep the umbrella from unfolding during a storage, a sheath is provided. The sheath also has a carry-strap so you can throw the umbrella over a shoulder.- One-button operation deploys the umbrella, quickly.- The venting design negates the effects of most winds.- The handle has a soft neoprene coating, making easy and comfortable to hold. Some comments...- The umbrella is a bit heavier than typical cloth umbrellas of the same size.- I wish there was a pouch for the sheath - once removed, you'll have to find a place for it whether that is a pocket, or...- When closing the umbrella, I find using the little lip tough to get it to click and hold. Instead, I'm squeezing the bottom ribs which is a bit easier.- Sunny weather can cause some glint, that others might not appreciate.I really like this umbrella - the coverage is great for rain or shine!

Sturdy and keeps you cool
I like this umbrella. I bought it to protect my baby from the sun. It is always sunny where I live and it can get windy.I think it reflects the sun so it keeps you cooler underneath and is sturdy enough to withstand the winds.

Weren’t joking about size!
This umbrella lives up to its claims. It’s sturdy, good materials, and HUGE. I’m 5’11 small built and this looks like a beach umbrella Lol! Would recommend 100% ❤️
