Easy set up
I had read some reviews regarding the setup. It was quite easy. I awakened early, because I did not the phone to be out of commission for a long time during business hours. It wasn't. I am replacing an older Panasonic system. This such a wonderful upgrade, with some the familiar features. I highly recommend.

Good phones
Phones work good. Was easy to connect my husband and my cell phone to it. It has a different tone for each phone so we know what phone is ring, mine, my husband or the landline. The only issue I had is that it stopped letting me know when I had a text message after a week and that was one of the reason I purchased it.

Works like a charm, but setup is complex and outdated
When I think about rating a phone, my number 1 factor is the quality of the phone as a working telephone (and here, as an answering machine). This system delivers good audio quality, both as a speaker and listener, and the answering machine works effectively. Best of all, the phone handset batteries are rechargeable AAA batteries, not proprietary battery pack, so this system has the potential to last a very long time. The only downside I've found is that it's overly complicated to program speed dials into the handsets. It's both a feature and a curse that each handset must be programmed separately. This gives the potential for individual handset users to customize their own speed dials, but it also means that it takes four times as long to program the handsets when you are first setting up the phone system.Highly recommended, even with its quirks.

How to love your phone
Easy setup, very good instructions for features and best of all is the ease of blocking annoying robo calls.

Great Phone, Bad Manufacturing
The system works great, but I'm giving 3 stars for manufacturing issues. The prongs that re-charge the phone fell off and no way to repair. But I did have warranty insurance and will get my refund and buy another unit. It's a good phone setup and loud to hear it when your in any part of your home.

Don't get this for wall mounting
I give this item one star because it is not suitable for the installation I need. You may have a very different experience. This Panasonic (landline) phone is clearly intended to sit on a table or other flat surface so that you can look down at the "control panel" of the base unit. The wall mount bracket defeats this design by not only mounting the base unit where it is hard to look down on it (I am an average-height man and it is at best awkward for me, but it doesn't work at all for my petite wife) but the bracket unnecessarily adds about 3" of extra height to where the phone is mounted on the wall. The wall mount bracket is clearly a not-well-thought-out last minute addition to the phone design and is not well suited to purpose.I will note that the additional handsets appear able to connect well to the base unit from other and distant locations.Additionally, I was really attracted by the claimed anti-spam features of the phone. However, (upon reading the manual) it seems that those features are not likely to work as I would want them to. For example, there is a "manual block" button (I don't remember exactly where and it doesn't matter) which you press to terminate the call and block the calling number from future calls. (This feature requires Caller-ID.) BUT, spammers hardly ever display their real numbers, so all you would accomplish is to block whoever's number the spammer has hijacked for the call. Another would-be attraction is an anti-robocall feature ("Press 1 to prove you are human before the phone even rings"). Again, this "feature" requires (by fiat) Caller-ID, even though there is no reason it could not be implemented on all incoming calls without Caller-ID.All in all, I've returned this Panasonic phone and simply reconnected the old Uniden phone that's been hanging on the wall for the past 25 years. I was hoping for better.
