The media could not be loaded.  Edit: it's now September, I bought this back in June. I went to replace the batteries and now its stopped working. I tried a different set of new batteries to make sure and yup, still doesn't work. Not sure what happened. I was worried about having to change the batteries as its fiddly to do in the first place. Expected it to last longer than 3 months!Arrived quickly. Instructions are in German only, (even though it's made in China). I just followed the images on amazon though.Batteries could be a bit fiddly to put in. Bit worried for when I have to change them over.Plastic feel. So doesn't feel worth the £35 price tag. More like £20 max worth I would say. Its from China so it looks nice but you can tell it has that cheap feel to it. This shouldn't put you off as, well...its a bin.Sensitivity of the open/close is quite good on top. You have to get close to the lid for it to open but it does open in 2 seconds.To close it there's another sensor spot on the front part but finding it is a bit of a guessing game atm.The lid does auto close after 20seconds which is useful.I recorded with the fan on to see if it is triggered by wind motion. It currently is not bothered by wind but we'll see how it goes in the long run.Looks nice. It does make a noise when open/close so it isn't a silent open/close bin. Not the end of the world, thought I just give as much detail as this product doesn't have many reviews.Also you'll need 2 AA batteries, it does not come with batteries.Also also the black cube bin liner holder is made to go inside and slot into the bin at the bottom. There's is a small gap where you could probably feed through the bins so it be quicker to change bin bags, it doesn't come with bin liners and I dont own any bin liner rolls to test this but I thought it was a good idea to have such a thing.

A bin that does exactly what it says it is slim, discreet and opens and closes with a contactless wave of the hand or knee or foot even! Keeps odours in and easy to empty . Great value for money. Super customer service I had a problem with battery compartment but bin was replaced and works like a dream.

Was really excited to get this bin. Looks really good. Sturdy and well made. The batteries only lasted a few days and when we tried to replace them we couldnt get the compartment out whatever we tried!I wish i had read other peoples reviews

Ordered two. Old one lid stopped working. New lid completely doesn’t work.

Got it out of the box, put batteries in and put it in new bathroom. 3 weeks later, stopped working. Tried other batteries, no, bin is dead already.Can't recommend to buy
