INDIN BC-R2066 Portable AM/FM Radio Operated by 2 AA Battery

I tried it and.the first time it worked pretty well. The second time I turned it on, it smelled strongly of melting plastic and got VERY hot. I opened the battery compartment and one of the batteries was partially melted and some of the inside of the radio was also melted. It was not worth sending for a replacement so I threw it away. He possibly could have been a bad battery but I was very careful to install the batteries correctly.

I bought this for my parents and it’s a good purchase. My dad likes to take it with him when he takes a walk in park and my mum likes to keep it on when she simply does housework at home. It’s light, portable and easy to use. May not be something that young people would buy but definitely a cute gift for parents.

Cheapest radio I could find with positive reviews. I have been using this for several hours a day at work for a month or two and haven't had to change the batteries yet. There is a little bit of movement of the "display" when changing stations, but I have been very satisfied.

We received the radio right after Halloween and I was nicely surprised with how small this radio is. Despite its small size, the quality for both AM and FM radio is pretty good. I think this will be a great item to bring to camping trip for outdoor parties.

Wish the volume went a little louder, but other than that, I can't complain! It's a tiny little, very good working radio!

The black plate that goes on top of the dial and has the numbers on it falls off easily. It seems to be just barely glued on. Functions fine otherwise.

Powerful little radio. Picks up several channels wonderfully.

Very small and cheap. Could have purchased something similar or better at the dollar store.
