Canvas tears easily.
This was a great idea, but now I am beginning to be a little bit more disappointed. The canvas appears to be made of a very weak material that tears very easily. Maybe it's just in the cold weather, but there was a small puncture and before I realized it, it became a long tear. From the photo you can see along rip, but also you can see a new small puncture near the top. This is not very good material, since it is less than a year old. I was hoping to get a couple of good years of service out of these.Update: the owner has contacted me regarding this issue. They are working on developing a new cover, that will be more durable. They seem like a very good quality company to work with and I am hopeful additional progress can be made.10/7/2029 Update: I continue to get good support from Joe as they move into final production of their new cover.

Great product changing the way to stack wood.
Great product that changed the way I stacked my wood. It keeps the wood dry, easy enough for my kids to stack and pull wood from. It stands up well in the New England weather after 2 years.

Run far, Run fast. Worthless in one year, waste of $$$
UPDATE 3/21/21: After contacting the company we worked out a mutual agreement and I got another cover, the updated version. The updated version is DRASTICALY different from the original and looks like it is going to hold up better. It is not just canvas, but almost like a vinyl treated canvas. If you are looking to buy, make sure you get the newest version. I am not changing the star rating as this is the original version, but I would at this point give the new version 5 stars because of perceived improvements and company response.Bought this cover last April 2019 and put it on the stack in August of 2019. Initially I thought it was great and worth the $150 that I paid! Yes, $150 for a cover. I had high hopes. Well, those hopes were dashed after one season of sitting outside. This past September when I was readying for the winter I noticed that the cover had a small tear in it and I thought maybe a log had pushed through. After inspection there were not log ends poking the cover anywhere. What I also noticed on inspection is that the cover had become VERY brittle and "crunchy" feeling. Well, this past week we had a wind storm and the WHOLE cover ripped apart! I now have a ring of fabric around my stack with a flap of the rest of the cover. I am SO immensely disappointed in this cover and HIGHLY suggest that you stay away from it. It was a total loss of $150! If it had lasted even 5 years I might be a little happier, but 1 year for a $150 is crazy. A HF tarp for $15 would last me longer. In short, run far run fast and keep your money safe.

Update: customer service is fantastic, gen 2 cover is made with much sturdier material.
Update: They have great customer service. Joe was exceptionally helpful. They started using a new material that is more durable then the gen 1. Just arrived and looks and feels much sturdier then before. Putting it to work right away and am confident it will hold up much better. Again I am super impressed with their customer servicePretty disappointed in this cover. The durability is very poor for an outdoor product. Exposure to the elements weakened the material to the point that the simple act of pulling it back down over a side after grabbing wood put the first tear in it. Wind put another tear in it shortly after. These occurred about 7 month after it was purchased. So not even a year out of an expensive product. The idea and design are good which is why I gave it 2 stars but the material and cost for something that won't last are very disappointing.

Less than a season in. Pooling water and a ripped top
Much less durable than it should be for ~$150. Went out to adjust the top following a heavy rain that left pooling water and the material ripped with very little interaction or pressure. I'm repairing it with $10 worth of duct tape....

must buy
Amazed at the quality! Most companies are all about cutting quality to increase profit. Cordwood covers delivers a great product. Rugged ground covering and vented cover exceeds expectations.

Great Product!
The tarp seems tough and durable. I’m currently building my stack. This method of storage makes so much sense. It will be just steps away from my doorstep and will save me TONS of walking and hauling from barn to porch all winter. And it just looks cool and orderly. It really makes a statement of tidiness and pride in one’s property to see this perfectly cylindrical stack of wood from the road. Love that it holds all the irregular wood too. Great concept. Great product.

Extremely disapointed after 1 year and 2 months of use
We purchased this product (2 actually) to protect our wood. We live in Georgia, which has very moderate temperatures and not a lot of major freezes to effect the materials. After a year and 3 months we the fabric is completely dry rotted on both of the tarps. Both have had tears in the top of the tarps... If i had know that the product was going to last this short of a time, I would have just gotten a tarp and rope for way less money. Very disappointed b/c we were so excited about the cool way to cure and store wood.
