Super Warm. Super Super Light. Incredible Value. Love it!
I love this jacket. I bought one just like it for myself for half the price at Costco and my teenage son kept wearing it. A year later, Costco was not selling them so I paid double here on Amazon but this exact same one was worth it. Here in Chicago, a goose-filled jacket is critical to staying warm and protective from the high winds. I've worn mine in single digit temperatures. Below zero, a good sweatshirt underneath the jacket will keep you warm. It can be worn up to about 45 degrees, depending on how heavy your clothes are. There are two inside pockets to store your gloves, hat, and/or phone. Easy to store, carry, or pack in a suit case. It's as light as a feather too.The best winter jackets (and duvets) are filled with goose-down but those products cost more. The higher pricing is justified because goose-down really does keep you warmer than any synthetic material out there and, it's lighter too.

Great value & quality
tldr; This coat is a great value with pockets that are a bit annoying, keeping it at 4/5 instead of a 5/5. If you don't mind pockets that are a bit awkward, I recommend this coat. The coat fits as expected. I usually wear small and small was a good fit for me. I'm 5' 10" and 155lbs.Real down feathers are used in this coat so it's light and warm. It's comfortable between 30 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the weather, how active you are, if you wear layers, etc. For example, on a sunny day I'll wear this coat for temps as low as 30 degrees with a sweater. When the weather is worse or it is night time, it is comfortable for temps as low as 40 degrees. This coat does a decent job at being a wind-breaker but you do feel some chills when the winds start to get violent. Shouldn't be a problem unless you live somewhere with crazy wind. There are 2 big pockets inside and 2 external zipper pockets. The external pockets are stitched behind the down layer but there is only nylon on the side touching your body. This isn't a problem until it's around 35 degrees outside where the bottom of the nylon will get cold if you aren't wearing gloves. The pockets inside are stitched in front of the exterior pockets which can feel awkward when you store several items. For example, if you store a beanie in the inside pockets, there'll be a visible bulge and it brushes against the top of your hand when you put your hand in its pockets.I can't attest to the water resistance as I haven't owned it long enough.Overall, it's a great value ($80) for a down jacket and I'm happy with my purchase. The awkward pockets don't bother me too much myself, but that's all I can think of that I'm not satisfied with.

Great Coat
What a comfortable coat. Light weight and very warm. Good wind protection. Have not been in snow or rain, but I am sure it will be good. 8

I thought that it was going to be a big winter jacket…not happy with the price
I bought the jacket because I was looking for a new coat. When I seen the jacket I thought this is the one. I expected a big box when it was delivered instead I got this coat that could have fit in a shoe box. I thought I’ll give it a try so I wore it out on a cold day and nearly froze. For $167 I was not impressed. I know that it’s not Amazons fault but just because it has Eddie Bauer name on it just tells me that I’ll never buy anything with his name on it. I love Amazon and spend a lot of money on your site but this is the first time that I’ve been unhappy.
