Caught 7 mice in 8 days
This trap is very effective. I've previously used the old fashioned trap in the garage which was messy and dangerous when the dog passed. This is much cleaner and seems remarkably effective. I've caught 7 mice in 8 days, and the only reason I didn't get 8 mice was that I didn't check the trap once for 2 days. I thought I only had one or two mice! It's a bit fiddly locking and unlocking the plastic housing, but I don't bother to fully push the lid down now and it still works fine. I've just ordered a 2nd for the roof.

Great product.
Does exactly what it says it does. It is easy to use, everything about it is so easy.Loaded it the first night with some granary bread which I know they like because they attacked a loaf one night when I did not put it away and the following morning I had one deceased mouse.Disposed of the mouse and reloaded it but as yet not had another one, fingers crossed, I will keep reloading it for a coupe of weeks as it is easy to keep out of the way.

Functional mouse trap
This is a bit of a necessary evil, as the dog would get caught long before a mouse if not enclosed. It’s very effective, baited with cheese or chocolate. The trap can be triggered with a pull cord to re-bait as necessary and it’s reasonably easy to remove the dead mouse after it does its business. You can even pull the cord while holding the box so you don’t have to handle the mouse.

Adult mice didn't like this trap, kept clear.....
....but once I'd caught the adult mother in an old fashioned finger-snapper trap it caught the young mice who no longer had Mum to tell them not to go into it. BrutalWe would only use the open traps were it not for our dog.Wouldn't rely on these alone but we are buying more to help get rid of the little varmints

Very Successful
After a new house move, I started to notice signs of mice in our new garage (chewed matting). In the past I have used the 'humane' traps that seemed to do the job. However, due to the mice being more active in the evening, it was often a number of hours between checking the traps and one unfortunate rodent actually died in a trap that was intended to keep it alive. Not so humane in this case I assume due to stress, suffering and dropping temperatures.I then made the decision to opt for a traditional trap, with the 'Enclosed Clear trap' seeming to be a good option. I used the tried and tested peanut-butter as bait and left the trap along a wall of the garage. The trap did exactly what it was meant to and I actually had several mice trapped during the course of the week.Due to our fairly rural location, I have now had to concentrate more on ensuring the garage is fully secure as just too many were getting in and getting captured (field mice I think). The trap did the intended job, however, so I have to give it full marks for that. It's easy to use and ensures you know exactly when there is a mouse inside due to the clear housing and yellow bar that, if down, means you have a hit.It out-performed the electronic trap I also tried by a significant margin, so was the better option of the two.All in all a successful purchase, however in my case I think prevention is better than cure.

Deals with the problem!
Used for sorting mice near my chickens - it works well (unless you’re a mouse!). Used peanut butter and deals with the mice while not being a danger to chickens, dogs orChildren!

Works
Does the job , caught 6 mice with this one trap ,didn’t want to do via a trap but quicker than poison .

Keep your trap shut
It is hard to set the trap because it is so sensitive, that when you close the lid, the trap closes as though it has caught a mouse.
