I still think I like the old fashioned kind with the teeth that are perpendicular to the head band, but these definitely help the headband to stay in place. I wish the teeth went further down each side to help pull the hair back at the sides of my head. You can definitely tell where the teeth end on the band by how the hair at the top is pulled back, but not the hair at the sides.

I was letting my bangs grow out and needed something to keep them out of my eyes while they were growing. These worked perfectly. They look nice, they don't slip, even in my fine hair. They are a little tight at my ears, but they stayed in place and that is what matters. I bought three packs.

These headbands are comfortable, stay put, and have a nice look to them. The teeth help "comb" and hold the hair into place. The band is covered in a gathered material that add a bit more sophisticated look. Highly recommend.

The teeth are to short and to close together. I have thick hair hard to get them in.

I'm trying to grow my hair out and at 58 I was looking for something I felt comfortable in. This is very subtle and stays in place very well. It also doesn't squeeze my head!

These arrived quickly but smelled like mold, were completely soaked in something... I threw them out right away...
