I have struggled for many years with inefficient knives bought from local DIY stores and have kept promising myself to buy a good knife. I wasn't sure how good this would be in view of the, to my mind, very low price. Well it's really good! I bought it to remove some intricately sewn on sequins from an item of clothing but haven't made up my mind whether to do that now! I did though use it to scrape some paint off from an oil painting I painted and which I've been unhappy about. I was able to add highlights and small detail easily as the blade is very sharp. I like the size of the knife and also the weight as my previous craft knives were a little too light - not that this heavy of course! I received the knife quickly as well so really I have nothing but positive comments about this purchase.

Just make sure you tighten the handle used to replace the blade first as the blade my drop out.

So this item requires the ordered to confirm their details on receipt of delivery due to it being well a knife! So make sure your in for the delivery!I absolutely loved the look of this crafting knife and the grip is fantastic and it has a good solid weight, and fits the handhold well.Unfortunately it’s let down by the fact that after using it twice to cut through some card (birthday card thickness), the blade constantly moves and the locking mechanism that you twist to keep it in place just comes loose as you use it. So the durability of this is one is poor for myself. It might only be suitable for cutting thin paper perhaps, but this isn’t specified on the item and wouldn’t be a very effective crafting knife if that’s the case.I ended up with wonky line cuts. I would have returned if I had the time, so I can’t say I’d recommend this product this time.

Fantastic for the crafts I make. Just the right size

It’s very sharp and easy to cut mdf like craft type wood which is what I used it for. There is a little tub for the spare blades which is handy so you can keep them safe and away from little hands without them getting scattered everywhere.One star lost because of its durability, it’s quite flimsy and it kept unswerving itself while I used it, despite me screwing it on very tight, and the blade is a little bendy.
