I haven’t tried out the pen yet, but this would be a really nice gift for someone, it came exactly as pictured. Only reason for 4 stars is as others have noted, it doesn’t come with instructions for the pen and ink.

Got this for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. I always catch him writing things down. One time he used too much ink and it made a blob, but that was user error !

My 12yr old son thought the quill pen looked cool and wanted one but now that he got it delivered he uses it often with the journal it’s one of his favorite things
