Cursed in Shadows (Stoneridge Shadows) Paperback – 24 Jan. 2023

I loved how this storyline seamlessly fit in with Calli’s, and is full of strong characters. I really like how CJ has brought everyone together (with awkwardness included) and how they continued to develop throughout the book.As always when there is magic, shifters and vampires included, an emotional rollercoaster follows and this book doesn’t disappoint.I cannot wait to read more from this group! (And possibly others from the Stoneridge Pack - hint hint CJ!)

What the heck just happened!I have been wanting to see Cassia’s story since I read Stoneridge Pack and this book did not disappoint!

If you loved Calli and her men then you have to read this. Cassia and her men have ended up in a bit of a pickle. It will take them all to get out of this one.Thank you for bringing us this part of the story. I loved it so much.

I was happy to finally read Cassia‘s story and seeing where the journey takes her and her mates. You see that she still working through believing that her magic isn’t a curse and also getting to know her mates. I’m happy that she’s learning to open up more and it’s starting to care for the people around her and even starting to see a light at the end of the dark tunnel. Excited to see how the story concludes.

I sped read the Stonridge series and could fully understand Cassia's story. I love complicated characters with dark backgrounds. The story was fast-paced and I loved Cassia's mates and the fact that there were all different types of shifters. If I have any complaints it would be that this a only a two book series and that the books are not as long as the Stoneridge series. Otherwise, I believe the author did a great job of developing complex characters and creating a very intriguing storyline.
