Really like it. I have tried my first batch. It only took just over two days, perhaps I cut thinner than I thought. I like it, can't wait for the butchers to open and I'm going to try some more and perhaps something different to beef. I'm not sure I marianded for long enough, as the flavour is quite mild. That isn't the sellers problem. Very happy with the purchase and happy to recommend. Might try Salami, once I am used to it a bit more. May take the bulb out for that but mine doesn't seem to be overly warm anyway. Love it.

My new favourite kitchen appliance! Miss Biltong and costs fortune every time we visit a SA shop but now we make our own and have a constant supply. Brilliant machine, dries thin steak in 2 days and thicker cuts from butchers in 3-4. Fan is fairly quiet and non-intrusive. Wish I had discovered this sooner. Price may put some off but honestly will save you a fortune in long run.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and I don’t know who loves it more; him or the kids. The one thing we really miss about South Africa , we now have in our kitchen

Great item I love making biltong with it does the job really nicely although the instructions recipe didn’t really work for me but I worked it out eventually many thanks 😊
