Junn Shenn Puerh Tea, Black Tea, 5 Years Aged Fully Fermented Red Tea, 7.41Oz*30 Count, 210g

These tea balls are quite flavorful and stand up to multiple infusions. I have used a ball for up to six or seven cups, just adding warm water and the tea remains dark and flavorful. Puerh tea is earthy and this retains that quality throughout. It was so dark and flavorful that I initially wondered if a single ball was for larger serving containers such as a quart or liter pitcher. I have tried Puerh tea from expensive cakes and think this is close in quality and taste (complexity) while being conveniently packaged and reasonably priced.

I found this to be unique in flavor, in a good way. I am a little bit of a tea enthusiast so this peaked my interest. They are cute in packaging design which was also funny as although I knew it was tea, being a new product my brain wanted to mistake it's wrapping as candy at brief glances. As for the flavor it's a little hard to explain which may be that it is aged black tea. You can taste something different but it's hard to say exactly what, which is not bad but the fun of new tea.I tried this two ways, plain and with milk. For me personally, I perferred it with cream as it was very complimentary to the unique flavor profile of the tea. My teenager who also is into tea preferred it plain but would probably rate this 2/5 where I would say 3/5 for black teas, with an extra star for the packaging. I've only had a few cups so I would like to get further through the bag before I say whether or not I would order this again. It's not an instant love tea but it might be growing on me.

I found this tea to be smooth, full-bodied, and with a light smokiness in the finish. It's an unassuming but delicious tea.Other than the rather plain plastic bag these tea balls come in, the balls themselves are individually wrapped and look nice. The one thing I wish was included in the packaging was instructions for preparation. According to the product page, one ball is good for 1500ml, but I didn't spot that on the packaging. This is mostly from the perspective of gifting it to someone, since once you know the amount of water to use you're set.The 30 tea balls are enough for nearly 12 gallons of brewed tea, so if your household drinks a lot of tea, it's a great deal.Recommended.

Product photos are showing whole leaves but the product is made out of crumbled leaves. This tea must be washed before brewing. But, this is not possible to wash crumbs. Crumbs have to be strained and, this creates a terrible mess. Balls have no edges like tea cakes. Edges will show broken tea leaves; they will crumble. They use a tea bags concept; sell broken tea leaves. Also, "This item isn't eligible for return."! They know what they are doing. It is not fair to customers. Compare my photo with the web site photos of tea leaves.

I ordered the black tea because I tend to like stronger flavored tea. This made really nice looking tea, but unfortunately the flavor was really lacking. What flavor it did have tasted fine, it just wasn't nearly as strong as I would have liked. I even used 1 ball for about half the water it says it can be used for (they say 1 ball is good for about 50 ounces and I used a 32 oz jar) and it was still pretty weak. I even let it soak overnight, as I was making iced tea and not hot tea.Bottom line I think you'll enjoy it if you like nice looking but extremely mild teas, but if you're looking for something more flavorful I'd look elsewhere.

Drank this tea at like 4 pm and was up until 4 am !!!!!! Lol it definitely is demented well and I advise to drink this first thing you rolllll out of bed in the morning !!! It has a light sweet taste but string so honey is recommended!

I'd give this tea an A+ for presentation, the little "candy-wrapped" balls of tea are fun and unique. I give this tea an F for instructions, as well as an F for general information, including ingredient lists and information panels, because there were none. In fact, the only packaging to speak of outside of the candy wrappers was a plain plastic see-through bag. Based on taste alone, I give the tea a solid B. (Nothing wrong with that.)

I enjoy puerh teas and thought this one was tasty. It is a milder black tea so I don't take it with cream, but my boyfriend does and enjoys it this way.I think the candy wrapper presentation is so cute, and I'd be pleased to put this out as a beverage choice for guests.
