I ordered 4 of these to allow me to charge my iPad in multiple places (car, home, work, etc) They arrived very quickly and looked great. They charged my iPad with no problems.However, when I unplugged the cord from my iPad the tip of the cable broke off. I contacted Syde and they asked me to send them some information on the cable. They sent me out a replacement cable the next day and it arrived promptly.Anytime you make a lot of anything you have a high chance that there is going to be some failure in one of your products. I have used all of the other cables with absolutely no problem with any of them. I also own a USB AC powered charger that works great.Based upon my experience with the charger, the rest of the cables I bought, and the quick response to my defective cable I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend them and I WILL order from them again..I wish I could place a 4.9 star review because this was an almost perfect product transaction.

Before you even open the box you’ll feel the heft of this cable. It’s clearly designed with longevity in mind. UPDATE: Bought Feb 4th, stopped working Aug 19. Has been attached to charger at bedside, no cats allowed in room so no chewing. Extremely light usage on this particular one, yet it just went dead. No visible damage. Nothing appears broken. Outside of return policy for Amazon so it goes to warranty. BUT you will pay $4.99 for shipping. Feel it should be fully covered for a year-including shipping.Previous review --Have 2 already. Have 2 cats that like to chew the connector housing on the softer white iphone cords. These have no teeth marks after months, therefore, I can assume they either don't taste good, or they are strong! Nice length. The color is good because they don't get dirty like the white ones. Bought 4 more.

I love this cable. It is very strong and well made and charges my Iphone and Ipad a noticeably higher rate. I go through charging cords quickly and even high priced ones don’t seem to last very long. I ordered two of these and will probably get another for work. Excellent quality at an astounding price.Update: i still love these cables and this company! I have bought 4 of these and they have held up well. One unexplicably stopped charging recently - no visible damage, just would not charge. I contacted the company and they quickly replaced it. Nice and definitely would buy again.

The kevlar charging cable saved my life one night... a couple of gangsters came up outside the speakeasy as I was heading home with my wholesome girlfriend and demanded my wallet. I told them to pound sand and one of them pulled out a Beretta 9mm pistol and shot me right in the heart. Luckily my Syde ARMOR Lightning Cable with KEVLAR Core was in my breast pocket and it stopped the bullet. I put the bullet in my mouth and spit it back at that Italian and it went right into his jugular and his buddy fled the scene. Without the Syde ARMOR cable I would have died that night.It's also a good charging cable.

I had really higher hopes for this to be the end all for an alternative. I'm speaking of, the overly rated very expensive, Apple cable and adapter products. This Syde 5 ft. cable, it is good. However, I'm just a bit disappointed that after approximately 6 mo. it now works now intermittently. I'd say that you must roll this cable up without allowing any kinks to set in, PERIOD. I think that might affect the conductivity to your devices that you use. i.e. iPads, iPhones, etc... Good thing is Syde has a good warranty support and for 5 bucks shipping or mailing fees, they'll mail you a new replacement cable. After you return the old one back first though.

It seems that a cable on average last about a year for me. I rarely use the phone while it is plugged into the cable, because it don't take a rocket scientist to figure out they are not intended to be used in such a manner. As most, my problem even with correct usage is that the cable becomes weak breaks down. Now I must say this cable itself appears to be very strong as advertised. The problem I incurred is that the connection broke. luckily it did not break off in the phone. Recently one broke off in my daughters phone and forced a trip to the Apple store and in the end the purchase of a new phone due to the damage. One unhappy dad that day ! So buyer beware of this product. I only give it one star due to the fact that the cable itself appears to be very strong and would visit the normal cable damage that most of us know oh too well.

I have four kids who love to use devices while charging. They love holding their devices in their cute little laps with the charging cords mashed against their bodies at extreme angles. We went through so many cables that I considered buying stock in a copper mine.SYDE ARMOR caught my eye while shopping for new cables. I’m always skeptical when a manufacturer uses a para-aramid fabric as it is often for marketing purposes. However, this cable is tough. Really tough. There is a tangible difference between SYDE ARMOR and other cables. The connectors are solidly built and have a sturdy boot that minimizes the ability to bend the cable in a tight radius. The engineering behind this cable is flawless. The only way this cable will fail would be an error during manufacturing (which seems very unlikely).To conclude; I recommend this cable and this company. They are making a great product. Belkin had better prepare their shareholders for a disappointing quarter.
