I ordered 4 of these to allow me to charge my iPad in multiple places (car, home, work, etc) They arrived very quickly and looked great. They charged my iPad with no problems.However, when I unplugged the cord from my iPad the tip of the cable broke off. I contacted Syde and they asked me to send them some information on the cable. They sent me out a replacement cable the next day and it arrived promptly.Anytime you make a lot of anything you have a high chance that there is going to be some failure in one of your products. I have used all of the other cables with absolutely no problem with any of them. I also own a USB AC powered charger that works great.Based upon my experience with the charger, the rest of the cables I bought, and the quick response to my defective cable I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend them and I WILL order from them again..I wish I could place a 4.9 star review because this was an almost perfect product transaction.

Updated review 4/7/2018I contacted the company via amazon messaging, and within TEN MINUTES I had received a reply. 30 minutes after that, I had been notified that a new one was on its way.This cable charges so quickly.Only reason I have not given 5 stars is because of the original breakage. I would give 5 stars if there had not been a break.****Went to retrieve my iPad from overnight charging and saw that it hadn't charged. I pulled out the cable, but the pin remained in the iPad. Super disappointed because it charged lightning fast. The cable probably would have lasted for ages, which has always been the problem with charging cables.No abuse. No bending. No forcing. No jamming into the charging port.Given the great reviews, I am going to assume I got a dud.

I have sent numerous messages and all I get is a response we are looking into it. First I am asked to send a picture ( which I did), then I am asked to send the number along the side of the USB end( which I did several times), now I receive no response. I tried calling the phone number on the card enclosed with the order and the call will not go through. The kevlar charging cable saved my life one night... a couple of gangsters came up outside the speakeasy as I was heading home with my wholesome girlfriend and demanded my wallet. I told them to pound sand and one of them pulled out a Beretta 9mm pistol and shot me right in the heart. Luckily my Syde ARMOR Lightning Cable with KEVLAR Core was in my breast pocket and it stopped the bullet. I put the bullet in my mouth and spit it back at that Italian and it went right into his jugular and his buddy fled the scene. Without the Syde ARMOR cable I would have died that night.It's also a good charging cable.

When I first used I was very impressed...solid construction, sleek design. Then, after a few weeks of use I tried to insert it into my IPad and it would not stay attached. After a few tries I gave up that day, but the next day discovered that there is a plastic piece connecting the line with the connector that had slipped forward. Once I slid it back it attached just fine, but I still need to be careful every time I try to connect or disconnect the ipad from the power cord. I may try a spot of super glue to permanently end this issue.

Cables seemed of nice high quality, however after less than 2 months 1 cable quit working altogether and the other only works intermittently. Contacted customer service a week ago and have gotten no response. I would expect after a week that they would have replied. I would look elsewhere for long term durability and a warranty department that will respond to issues.Update: After leaving review I was contacted a couple weeks later. Probably once the saw the review. And stated that I would have to pay for shipping there and shipping back. Totaling more than just buying another cable from Amazon. So beware the warranty is a JOKE.

The cord itself may be very durable, but the part that goes inside the iPad broke off on only the second day of use. I bought this Kevlar cord because I tend to bend them and go through them very quickly, but breaking in two days is a record even for me.

Love the fact that I can use this backup lightning cable to charge my iphone and ipad while driving. I needed an extra cable that was going to withstand the elements of a hot car the standard cable frayed and split. I'm making a change in 2018 to invest in products that are going to last and what drew me to this cable was not just the strong braiding but also the fact that it's made with kevlar. I knew I had a great cable when I took it out of the box. It just feels good.
