This is a game for teenagers, too explicit
Too many explicit questions to enjoy in adult company.

Quite fun. More ‘chat’ cards please.
Thought this was quite fun. Not sure I’d use them as a ‘game to be honest. But as an ice breaker they are pretty good. Good for Tinder chats as well! Though, the ‘interesting questions’ only make up a small portion of the cards. Quite a few are a bit lame simply around drink. I’m not a prude about the drinking part, but it’s a bit lazy for a deck of cards called ‘travel chat’. More chat ones would have been better. We can manage to do the drinking without cards thanks very much.

Quite crude for ice breakers
Now, I’m certainly not a prude and I’m not a novice to travel- be that backpacking in hostels or 5 star resorts. I’ve played many a game of “never have I ever”- but I’d have to know people a little at least first.I got these for someone with social anxiety who plans on solo traveling but I don’t think they’ll be much help, with helping them with conversation.Essentially these cards remind me of a drinking game you might play with good friends aged 18-25- rather than conversation starters or icebreakers. Most of the cards are themed around sex- not something I’d ask someone I’d just met in a hostel. The drinks cards just order you to drink. There are a couple of good questions such as “most dangerous situation you’ve been in” or “worst place you have stayed”- but those are the only 2 I spotted.Honestly, I thought these would be a bit more travel orientated to spark conversation- but these just jump straight in with never-have-I-ever style questions. I guess if you’re young and drinking with a good bunch these could work. But it feels like these cards are trying to be risqué for no real reason. I think you’d have more laughs with cards against humanity and probably get to know people better with their choices than asking a stranger if they’ve had a threesome. I’m sorry to say but despite wanting to really love these cards, they’re a big disappointment.

Conversation game
As other reviewers said, way too many of the cards are just weird sexual stuff. Things that a group of 15-year-old boys might laugh at. There are a few good cards that will prompt some conversation and laughs but they need to get the ratio right. I've played a few conversation card games and usually there is a few risqué ones but the game is typically designed where you can play without them as well depending on the group you're playing with. Essentially this is unplayable without all the weird cards as they're so many of them, limiting who you can play with.

Good with the right group of people
After ordering this game and re-reading the front of the packaging I wasn’t quite sure what was going to arrive - especially with the tagline “Why wait to lower the tone?”.The make up of the game is pretty simple - its a series of relatively high quality cards in a playing card sized box. Nothing to complain about here. On the cards themselves are a series of different questions or things that are to be acted out. Many of these are crude (think teenage humour) with the view that you’d probably play this over a few drinks. There’s not a winner or loser here - these are more like conversation prompts you might have for strangers.Overall with the right group of people these could be interesting - but have a look through at the samples before you commit.

Easy to pick up, fun with strangers or pals!
Lots of fun, easy to use cute little game to take away with you on solo travels (or if you just want a way of making new pals on your holidays). Played back home at parties too! The wildcards are a fun addition

Perfect travelling ice breaker
Such a fun card game. We played this game whilst travelling and it was brilliant. Great way to break the ice and it just gets funnier the more you get to know each other. Definitely recommend.
