It works
I have used this only four times to mortar in some glass block windows. Mortar feeds well if slightly wetter than when using a trowel. Drill speed need to be slow or mortar will clog the nozzle - I think high speed heats up the mortar and it dries. Short learning curve and it works.

Sufficiently well made
Should work.Difficult to clean thoroughly. Cannot be disassembled for thorough cleaning. Flush it well while your mortar is wet.

Very poor quality
You have to make it beyond runny which doesn't work at all. Even if you thin the mortar to the point that it runs down the brick it clogs. I threw mine away after messing with it for 20 minutes. I kept the red mixer that came with it.Waste of money

ifficult to use on large jobs, but great for small-medium ones
This tool is a really great tool if you need to repair a bit of mortar around the house. It was difficult to balance and use and took some time to get the hang of. I also had some issues with mortar setting before I could use it, but that might be on me, rather than this tool. Other than that, it does work well, it was just a lot to juggle by myself.

Good quality tool and worked very well!
This tool saves the mess! Feed rate with drill & thickness of mix are the key...

Right idea, rough delivery
The idea behind this tool is fantastic. The problem is that you have to mix the mortar down pretty thin to ensure it doesn’t clog the nozzle. There is no way you could use this for cement, even Thinset and I have no idea why you would try to caulk with it. If you have an application that requires a relatively thin powder mixed compound, this would be great otherwise its a great idea with a lot of promise but a really tough delivery.

Did not work for me.
I had a large stone veneer wall to point and was hoping this pointing gun would work for me. Unfortunately, it did not and had to go back to using a grout bag. No mortar would come out of the tip no matter what speed the drill was at. I'm not sure if the mortar was too thick for this gun. The attached picture shows the mortar consistency I was working with. I did not want to water it down more and compromise the strength of the mortar, and I expect these types of guns to work with mortar of this consistency. It might work better with thin tile types of grout, but that's not what I needed this tool for. Also, the pictures and description indicate adhesive tape was included, but it was not.
