Make sure you get the larger size because the smaller sizes are not as effective. I have purchased both so I know. As a Senior, it is very safe and so comfortable for my feet, and not the least slippery getting in or out of the tub. It is easy to keep clean with the good drainage where water drains through the mat. I love it and it allows me to feel safer.

I am neither old, nor disabled. I have no problem anywhere. I have regular smooth bathroom tiles.First of all, this is being advertised as 8 suction cups, but has 6. Misleading advertisement.These mats with 4-6 suctions cups are a disaster waiting to happen. You will slip and break your head or back or something. It is only a matter of when.They have to stop selling these, no matter what the material is. First day use, down to garbage.

I ordered this mat because I had one similar in my old apt and decided to go to a traditional rubber mat. Blahhh... Ordered this one but I'm highly disappointed thatvit only had 4 suction cups when description said 8 and it does not stick to my tub at all and I have a regular tub. No special material etc so it should stick but it does not. I'm using it anyway. Hopefully I don't break my neck.

The length of the mat fit our tub perfectly. The texture feels like a loofah which I appreciate and the corner suction cups are great grippers for holding the mat in place. I am going to order another one for a shower my grand kids might be using soon. I think different shapes and sizes would be nice. We have had to use bath mats for slippery areas within a blow up swimming pools and some showers are square in shape, so the options would be great. The mat drains quickly making the drying time less. Thanks for making a great product.

The glue on the suction cups wears out in about a month. Then it will slide around in the tub. It seems to stay put if you're standing on it. It prevents me from slipping in the tub. As a result of chemo the neuropathy in the bottoms of my feet made for super-sensitivity. My feet tolerate this nicely. Without the suction cups it does slide around, so it is almost as dangerous as without it.

This thing is suppose to keep you from slipping in the shower. It does an OK job but I would not buy another one. It does not resist mold well, so after each use hang it somewhere to air dry. And then it still feels a little sticky. I guess that is how it keeps you from slipping.

This item really doesn't need more than the 4 corner suction cups. It does not slip, it is comfortable to stand on, it can be used to clean your feet and/or your calloused edges. This can be hung via suction cups to dry or hung over a safety bar to dripdry.

These shower/bath mats are fantastic except for having to move them away from the drain because I can't get the suction cups to work right. But it really doesn't bother me as it moves with very little effort; moving them away from the drain is no problem for me. They are so soft on the feet and the suds rinse out real easy. It's a real joy to take a shower with these shower/bath mats because they feel so good and I know I won't slip.
