Cables too short
The units worked fine, but unfortunately the cables were too short to go through the lamp housing properly and make a solid contact. This resulted in a shorted out lamp and much blackening to the cables.

Faulty & Potentially Dangerous item
This socket did not last very long before burning out (see photo). These are faulty and potentially dangerous. I have returned them to Amazon for a refund.
