Best and favourite tool!
This is my favourite hair tool to use now. It is brilliant. It styles my wavy/curly hair perfectly and my hair stays straighter for longer than it usually does if I were to use a normal hair dryer and straighteners (compared to cloud 9s)It is big, it may not be suitable for you if you struggle to hold heavy tools BUT I find this much much faster to style my hair so I don't mind this too much.My hair feels so much healthier and softer when I've styled it with this straightener. I can jump out the shower, towel dry my hair and straighten it from wet. I've been able to do my whole head, wet to dry and straight, in 10 minutes!! (Medium length, bleached, thick). It definitely feels like it's doing much less damage but I would still recommend using heat protection spray as you are still applying heat to your hair and there's no harm in extra protection! It is a little loud when you first turn the device on but it is still quieter than most normal hair dryers and I wouldn't expect it to be silent. You might struggle if others are asleep nearby but no more than a hairdryer.I LOVE this styler and it's pretty much the only tool I will use now. Friends and family have given it a go too on different hair types and it's been amazing every time!! I have had this about 3 months now and it's still working like the day I bought it. I'm hoping this lasts as long as other ghd products used to but I am hopeful so far.*There is mention of it in the instructions but I would let the device run and heat up for a couple of minutes before first use and the plastic smell disappears. This is normal for most devices but is worth noting that it's nothing to worry about*

Amazing
Wow straightening my hair just became so easy. I have just past the shoulder length curly frizzy hair. Wash spirits with GHD heat protection and 20 mins later perfect straight hair with volume, no frizz and so soft. Hair doesn't get too hot and no crispy hair smell. So easy to use, not heavy or noisy. Just take sections of hair like when I straighten, 3 to 4 glides down then move on. Finish off with shine shot. Hair isn't flat like it is with normal irons. Easy to dry roots and get the baby hair too. Lasts till next wash 3/4 days. Even able to create waves on my bangs. Can't fault them. Yes they are expensive but I was able to pay over 5 months interest free so win win.I can't recommend them enough. Super quick delivery too.

Should have bought this sooner
It's boring drying and straighting hair so I never dry my hair properly,so then it never straightens propely (even with GHD's) and I always end up throwing my hair in a bobble.Well no more!Yes, you have to put some amount of effort in to get best use of this product, however no more than if you were actually trying to straighten your hair, to wear it down.I have very, very thick curly hair and was dubious about these straightners, but it worked an absolute dream! My hair was not boffy and frizzy and I looked acceptable after my first attempt at using them. You do need to put it on straignter only mode after you've finished, to get that shine, but it's also recommended in the instructions.10/10 product. 100% worth the money. Just get it. You won't regret it.

Slow but gives great results
I am in two minds about this. The negatives are that it is expensive, heavy and hurts my arm and it takes ages to dry my thick shoulder length hair. I have an airwrap and I can get my hair dried in a fraction of the time. However, this gives a fantastic result. My hair sits perfectly, as though I’ve gone to the hairdresser. It straightens perfectly but it is easy to turn to give a bit of bounce. The results are shiny, bouncy, perfectly styled hair. It also keeps my hair straight until I was it, a new experience for me. Due to all this I really do love it. It seems to work far better than regular GHD straighteners which also are great.I want to use this every wash but it takes too long so I think I’ll use it when I want to look good and rough dry it first. Its appearance is sleek and lovely and it appears to be very well made like all GHD products.Yes I very much recommend it but be aware it takes ages to dry, leaving you with a sore arm but the results are amazing!

Best hair product I’ve ever bought
This was a complete game changer for me. I have thick, armpit length hair which is quite frizzy. I was in a rush but wanted to try them so quickly washed my hair then used them to dry/ straighten while my young children were in the bath. I didn’t even use a mirror because was standing in the hallway watching the kids and knew I was on a slim time limit. My hair was dry and straight within about 10/ 15 minutes, I didn’t even have time to section my hair but still looks brilliant. It feels smooth and lovely. I’m so happy with these, I can’t stop touching my hair. I know they are expensive but for me with the time it will save and I won’t look like a homeless/ haggered mum it is totally worth it. Thank you ghd gods, you’ve made me very happy.Just as a side note it basically is like a little hair dryer that you clamp your hair onto, just feels similar to brushing your hair but drys so quick. Then it has another button you can press which is like a proper straightener which finishes off your hair.If you enjoy doing your hair and don’t mind spending the time doing it then I wouldn’t bother but if your limited for time for whatever reason and would like to look nice in a rush then these are perfect.

Not what it described in the reviews.
This product was not what I thought it would be. It took alot of times to dry one bit of hair (and I have thin hair). Then it was tugging and I could her it catching and breaking my hair. When you lay it down to section the nezt bit of wet hair the hot air doesn't stop which would cause the area to burn when they are resting unless you set them on a heat mat (this is provided). I feel it would cause the same damage as me blowdrying my hair then using straighteners after.
