Way nicer and bigger than I was expecting. Really like antique type globes. Love the light feature too. I lucked out and bought used for$30-just like new. Overpriced at $50.

Great as a paper weight or decor? But not as a learning tool. Doesn't list all the names of everything and there is no elevated topography. But it makes for a pretty accent lamp!

I bought this globe for a prize for a game I'm planning for a class reunion. I'm not sure how you're suppose to light it. I can see a place for a cord to be inserted on the bottom of the globe, but no cord was included with the purchase. Do you have to buy this separately, and if so, where do you get such a cord. Wasn't keen on spending more money, but it would be nice if it could be illuminated.

This globe was the perfect size for my office and it looks awesome when it is lit.

Missing the cord. Wishing it was complete because it was a birthday gift for my son, now it’s not going to be as cool without the light. That was the whole point of ordering this specific light.
