CT Sounds Dual 8” 1600W Loaded Tropo Series Ported Car Subwoofer Box - TROPO-2X8D4

Forgot to take a pic of the subs so here's my wiring. Paired with a CT sounds CT1000.1D. Guys. These blew me out of the water. I just wanted a little bass because Ford's base audio systems are trash. I had subs like 10 years ago in high school and about 2 years after. Went through pioneer and ran 2 12" kicker comp R's for the longest time in an 01 mustang GT. I've never even considered anything smaller than a 12 but I didn't want subs taking up my entire trunk or back seat in my 18 Mustang GT. I figured for the price point I would at least give these a shot. They absolutely BANG. I was mindblown and these aren't even the premium 8's they sell. Responsiveness is good, and after tuning it they basically make my rear view mirror unusable. They don't get quite as low as the old 12's, but I think a part of that is the lc2i converter I used. It stops at 33hz I think but if you get the lc2i pro it goes down to 10hz. I may change that out in the future but for now I could not be happier. Perfect size for a 2015-2025 mustang trunk. I can still lift the mat to get my spare tire (box comes up with it but it's short enough to give clearance) and still have a usable trunk. They were packaged very well and the carpeting and embroidery were immaculate. This is an insane value. I'm into this setup for under $600 including wire kit, converter, subs, box, and amp. You literally cannot go wrong with this. Protip: please watch NextLevelCarAudio YouTube video on how to adjust the amp settings and Boost & Shutter YouTube video on setting the converter. You're going to me blown away once you tune it right.

Blown away by how these 2 8 inch subs sound better than a 10 or 12 inch subs, running them with a 500w RMS amp right now and it sounds crazy loud. Can't wait to get the recommended 800w RMS amp to really hear the full potential of thise box.

The media could not be loaded. I recently just got into car audio and subwoofers and within a week of using dual 12” subwoofers with 1200w max rating, I decided to give these 8” subwoofers a try even though they are not as favored and instantly noticed the quality was better than the previous subwoofers I used. While I am still breaking them in since I only had for a day now, using it at 40% on the bass knob is very impressive for its size! I am very happy with the results so far and can’t wait to up my bass knob to hear it even louder!

They beat like 12s. Had them in my crown Vic they fit snug up on the shelf in the trunk. would recommend

For being 2 8s I'm very surprised how it sounds and bumps I always in the like 15s 12s and some 10s. But this is whole new kind fun in small size. I like how heavy it and size of the box for be 2 8s there good in maxima. Don't 2nd guess on this deal and package go get it.
