Wonder World Amusement Park (Wii)

This game has very limited game play due to it being quite repetitive with relatively lifeless interaction and visuals. It's ok for a quick hour or so on 'whack a mole' or 'hook a duck' but having to repeat them over and over just feels very laboured and increasingly dull. As with a lot of Wii games it seems like a bit of a half attempt at a game, could have been so much better with a little more effort. Rating - Average.

I now own several wii games that are a collection of minigames - carnival, minigolf, funfair etc, all of which have been great fun for family members of all ages. Wonderworld strikes me as being harder than it's peers, so the 7+ age classification is a fair reflection of this.The game itself is split into 5 themed zones - space, spooky, pirate, fairytale and carnival. Within each you have a variety of throwing, shooting, puzzle, whacking, spinning and herding games. Score enough points and you are awarded credits to spend on other games or buy prizes. Buy all the prizes in a zones and you unlock a ride. In the spooky zone this is a race to the top of the tower which involves a series of arm numbing moves with the wiimote. Great fun against friends, less so against the computer.Personally I found the spooky and pirate zones the easiest to gain credits on.This is what wii does best - party games for several people - but there are a few better wii games out there, particularly if children are playing.

this game is great fun for all the family of all ages. it's just like being on a real amusement park and doing all the things you would do there. the reviews on the seller were good, and the price was right and i wanted games that we could play together, this was great. loads of fun and laughter. arrived on time and it was well packaged. well done to the seller.
