Bag busted along one seam after the first week of use...which of course allows the bladder inside to puff out, making the whole thing asymmetrical and useless.I replaced with a $40 Meister bag that's still going strong after 3 months.

I got this speed bag mainly for me and my wife to exercise and to help with some self defense buy mainly helping with moving our arms a little faster with control. We are trying to do core muscle workouts as well.I got this spredbag with swivel. The swivel is a u-joint style. The speedbag is black and white as pictured in the description. It says it is leafher but has more feeling of a synthetic plastuc feel. The swivel ball from the u-joint appears to be plastic and has some type of lubricant. The speedbag is the smallest sized: 8x5.What did I like about this speedbag: well the coloring is nice. While I like the speedbags I see at a gym and that type would look better in a garage gym, I use my garage....well....as a garage meaning to put my cars. So having our "gym" inside the house, I want everything looking nice.I also liked the price, even an 8x5 going at $25 is a good price. I have seen this size for more. To include a swivel makes it nicer. A very similar swivel by itself was being sold at $25. Itnis like getting the speedbag "ball" for free.The bag also feels nice, properly inflated, it just feels nice and does not hurt the hands without wrappings or gloves on.Now the reason I give this a 4 star, would have been a 3.5 star if I could.The bag size is more for expert level. It is very difficult for a beginner to use this size. This includes youth. They should have included a bigger bag (11x8 or even a 9x6) and had it for a little higher price.After receiving it, I noticed yellow on the white section. This was all under where the black sweated and caused some part of the black coloring to transfer to the white. This makes the bag look very very cheap. It is also very distracting. This also makes the bag look like plastic as well.Swivel with 3 bolt mounting????!!!???? This is ridiculous. Should be 4 at the minimum. Every platform typically comes predrilled and all have 4 or more. I have not found any low priced platform with no holes predrilled. This is making me have to go to the hardware store and make our own. I did find one that is around $200 not predrilled and the bilts included are long enough but why would I put a cheap bag on such a high priced platform disk?Ok last con is the swivel itself. They used a very small and thin wire ring type. This is very difficult to take off so you can take put the bag on or take off in case needed. This should have been a cotter pin. It is very difficult to keep it open until it is caught and able to move without being held open. I am a typical male with no nails to speak of and you absolutely need nails to get the ring on or off.No, I do not recommend this product unless you are looking for the smallest speedbag commonly available and have a platform that you do not mind and/or are able to mount a 3 hole swivel and (regardless replace that ring with a cotter pin). Anybody else, soend a little more and get a better speedbag.

The Benelabel Leather Speed Bag came with everything a person would need for getting started. I had the Speed Bag mounted and ready for a workout in less than half an hour...well, sort of.I tried to mount the Benelabel Leather Speed Bag in my basement where three rafters came together only to find that in order to work properly, the bag has to hit a solid surface each time which was to the case in my original setup. I watched a few videos on how to actually use a speed bag and noticed that all of the installations were mounted to either a large overhead circular or square area.I measured the travel distance of the speed bag when struck and hitting the surface. It measures at about a 2-½ foot travel distance. So off to the shop I went to fabricate a 6' x 6' square out of plywood, and fastened this to the existing rafters, then mounting the Benelabel Leather Speed Bag directly in the middle of the 6' x 6'. From that point forward I started getting the action I had hoped for.For beginners new to a speed bag and how to properly strike it, I recommend watching a variety of videos that will help you establish your timing and rhythm. It isn't all that difficult once you know a few of the basics, and you'll soon be on your way to daily 20 minute or longer workouts like I have been enjoying daily for a few weeks now.Nothing about the construction of the Benelabel Leather Speed Bag feels cheap, and I have not noticed any signs of wear since I have began using it. Would make a nice gift or piece of exercise equipment for kids and young adults who need to expend a lot of energy and get out there anger and frustration A great cardio device too for those that are older.

I have a son who just loves to pester people. He's the youngest in the family and probably became a little feisty to survive being the youngest.My hopes were that this item would give him something non-human to get some of that feistiness out.For Christmas a few years ago I got my boys boxing gloves when I found them for a good deal. I thought they would get a kick out of it.My youngest was playing with my oldest and we were all laughing our heads off as my oldest son acted like he was getting beat up big time. Then they decided on a truce to end things.All of a sudden my youngest uppercut my oldest who now had his hands down, and he gave him a fat lip!So, to save his siblings we got this to give him some physical outlet. Of course everyone wants a turn at it and it's an all around fun item.But now I'm thinking, "Am I training him to be even better at boxing?"I'm not sure this would really be for a professional to train, but it's fun for home use. It came with everything needed to install / inflate.

I am a boxing coach so I know a few things about boxing/MMA ! Well I know enough that if you are going to sell something that is going to be hit hard it shouldn't split the second time using the punching bag ! Key word punching !

The ball is all yellow and oddly shaped. It punches okay though.

Loved the product however only used few times and seems torn . Not impressed

i had the bag for less than a day before i had to take it down and go through the returning process. this is the worst speed bag i’ve ever had DO NOT BUY
