I love this belt. It's a very high quality product. I ordered my regular jeans size and the fit was perfect. There are 7 holes in the belt and I'm on the 4th hole which is dead center without the holster or mag pouch. With everything on the belt I'm on the 3rd hole. I did try it with an IWB holster and if I went that route I'd order 1 size up over my regular jeans size. I did call 1791 and spoke to Rebecca over some random care and questions that I had. She was very polite, professional and helpful. Gold standard for customer service in my opinion. This product is easily worth what they charge and I can see it lasting me the rest of my natural life and then some

Well now - every once in a while you purchase something, inspect it up close and go "holy Moses this item is built like a concrete bomb shelter" and you know it will last decades. I finally found a leather belt that's a "BIFL" item and also made in the USA..... 1791 Leather hit a home run. My half-effort-search for my next belt ends here. I've been keeping an eye for one out knowing my old carhart leather one was on its way out after a decade or so. I wanted a nice thicc one. This fits the bill. I'll put some obenaufs on it and watch it break in over the next year working in the greenhouse. I also took another reviewers advice and put a magpul buckle just for personal preference. I bought 1 black for going out and 1 brown for work and swap the holster around accordingly and these should last a lifetime.I ordered this one after i bought a holster for my sp101 - I saw how high quality their holsters were built and hot diggity dawg I'd recommend anyone looking for a new regular sized 1.5" belt to go this route assuming you don't mind a mega stiff thicc belt to break into over the years.Update: Put a dab of Loctite Blue on the 2 Chicago screws holding the buckle together, they started backing out during a 15k-20k step work day. Didnt come off but worth noting. Great belt.

I was inspired to look for a new belt after listening to the recent Gun Cranks podcast where they interviewed Mitch Rosen of Mitch Rosen Gunleather. He stressed the importance of a good belt as the foundation of any carry system. I cannot spend $120.00 for a belt and wait 4-6 weeks in good conscience. I have been happy with 1791 holsters and sprung for this belt. Fit is based on pants size and is a perfect fit. The belt is surprisingly lightweight, nice and thick, love the buckle, and it smells great! I will wear this as daily casual wear and only strap up occasionally. Shipped promptly and my Amazon drivers have been exemplary.

Had to order twice cause first time I forgot to select size. The sizes run true. I wear 36 pants and bought the 40 belt and had plenty of belt after I secured it. Belt is very stiff. I put Leather Honey on it front and back. After it dried, I bent the belt both ways too loosen it up a bit. Nice belt and compliments the Vintage color holster I bought.

I purchased this belt to use with my IWB and OWB holsters. Perfect fit (use the 1791 sizing chart). The belt remains sturdy and does not crimp or roll when using the holsters.. High quality, great looks, and very sturdy while also being very comfortable. The quality of construction and the materials are top notch. While you can select the same color as your holster from 1791, I bought the classic brown and it pair well with all of their holsters. I highly recommend this belt even if you don't wear a holster!

Before I bought this belt I would go through belts like crazy. I'm a larger person belts twist and deform then they look like crap. This belt however, is as thick as two of those belts put together it is rigid comfortable easy to latch I mean a could not ask for a better belt. It might be the last belt I ever buy it's made that well Good luck

This belt $60.00 plus Magpul Tejas Gun Belt Hardware Kit $15.00 probably makes the most stable and flat laying belt without giving you that crimped belt hole look. Total combined price very reasonable comparing other quality belts.

If you are looking for a high quality belt that can hold up to the weight of daily Carrie this is it. Every bit as good as my milt sparks without the long wait and much higher cost.
