Boules (8 Per Game)

The durability of the bowls is in question due to the canvas case not being really long term strong - its the foam inside that wont last mostly so when that goes the individual balls will all fall to the bottom like tomatoes in a bag. But disappointing as a christmas present as it looked in places that the bowls were not well finished. This would be an ok non gift if it were priced at a lower rate since it isn't a premium product. Its too expensive for what it is but it is a fun game and this should allow you at least to get into the game of boules.

Eight boules, wooden jack and tape measure all in a strong canvas bag. Quality is excellent as is the value. Boules are marked in pairs by different lines running around them making identification easy. The boules are surprisingly heavy and so are unlikely to be thrown where they are not intended. I had previously used plastic ones filled with water when playing with the grandchildren but these are miles ahead in quality. Educationally they must be good for hand & eye coordination as well as turn taking, measuring, playing together. And that goes for us oldies too. Would recommend them to anyone. Good value for money.

Sadly the package arrived only wrapped in a plastic bag with no support or packaging at all. The plastic cradle inside the bag which holds the boules in place was very broken. Too damaged to be given as a gift I intended it for. I contacted the seller who said that the cradle was not part of the set but for transit purposes only. I disagreed with this as we have a set which came from Amazon too, arriving totally intact. The plastic inner does make it easier to pack the set up and also makes the set look better especially as it was for a gift. Had the cradle been only for transit then it probably would have been made of cardboard or other packaging material to be discarded. I have returned the set and am at present waiting for a refund of my purchase price, hopefully this will happen.

Boules arrived promptly but unfortunately the carrier bag was damaged.A heavy parcel, with carrier bag lightly wrapped (No cardboard box)I quickly reported problem and after several emails they asked me to post the carrier bag back, which I promptly did.Then I waited and heard nothing, so emailed them again. They then asked for tracking number which I did not have.Many emails later they still have not replaced the carrier bag. Responses are mainly automated saying they will get back to me but they don't.We like playing with the boules (which we are keeping in a heavy duty plastic bag)

They appears to be very well made product and the boules have a good weight to them. The plastic holder that holds the boules is very well constructed and holds the boules extremely well with the case is closed.Very happy with this item.

As these are to be a present I cannot comment on the actual boules. However, they arrived on time, well packaged and look good. I have every hope that the recipient will be delighted with them.

These were bought for taking on holiday as our plastic ones had been out grown. Lovely item though don't under estimate how heavy they are.

Playing Boules with family or friends is great fun.Use a smooth piece of lawn or a bumpy bare patch of soil, it doesn't matter.Would not recommend tarmac car parks.These Boules are heavy and with care will last a lifetime.Excellent value
