Good flavor. Chips the right size

I was really disappointed to discover that these are wood chips . The seller should update the product title to wood chips . Wood chunks are bigger peices which is better for smoking.

Some of these chips have other woods mixed in with them. Check to make sure you are getting what you want. In the past I was using Big Chief chips. They were all one kind of wood. Ohhhh, for the good old days.

These 'chips' are cut really small, like wood shavings. I like the size because it provides more surface area to smoke. I use it on a gas weber where the cooking time to smoke is very short; for my recipe is only 50 minutes, not hours. The smaller size is perfect. I purchased the apple (pork) as well as the cherry (chicken) - about the same price purchased locally, but the delivered to my door service is awesome!

As for the product itself it was what I ordered and has a nice smoke flavor, the reason for the review is that if something seems to good to be true it is...this product in the title states that it is a "12-pack" and it is not. I could have gotten this product cheaper elsewhere but thought this was an excellent deal and choose to purchase through this company; however knowing now it is one bag and not a 12 pack I paid way to much.

Received, was expecting Chunks but got chips even though the package states Chunks. Will not buy this brand in the future. If you want Chunks, they Weber ones I purchased at the same time are truly Chunks.

no ants, as other reviewers of this manufacturer had noted. Came quickly, but I would call them chips rather than chunks. Smoked a pork loin on electric smoker with these and the smoke flavor was outstanding.
