What a great story and so funny. The main characters were hilarious. And loved their journey going to miss Reading about them

I friggin loved this series, each story just got better with Riggs a d Duffy the final instalment.Riggs absolutely stole by heart, and I love Duffy who’s a Brit after my own heart.There interaction had me tittering for the start.This has it all from love and laughter to tears.Riggs is broken by his past and is not prepared to settle down for anyone, he’s forever the drifter.Daphne (Duffy) is never willing to be poor ir hungry ever again and will do anything to make sure she marries well.Then it all goes terribly wrong, for both of them.This was a fantastic read, couldn’t put it down, didn’t want it to end. Both characters were fun, with so many issues you just wanted to reach in and fix them.So sad this is the end.

This was funny in parts, but left me feeling bored in parts. Needed something more interesting to liven it up.

I can't say enough great things about this story. l.J is a favourite of mine, I've never been disappointed. This one had everything, I've been eagerly waiting for Riggs story and it was perfect. From the way he met Duffy, which was a first for a 'meet cute' , so funny. What that meeting led to was a funny, even hilarious at times back and forwards between the two. Enemies to lovers, friends and lovers, marriage of convenience, a man who won't fall in love ( until he does) heartache and tears, a quirky English girl too, which led to some funny comparisons between America and English, being English myself, I like the references that were weaved through the story. Anyway, this story covered quite a few tropes and I loved it. I just wish it wasn't the end of the series but I'm sure the next book to come will be full of more of LJs brilliantly written characters . Can't wait!

This was a lovely story. I fell in love with Duffy and Riggs right away. I didn't want it to end, which is more than I can say for quite a few of my recent reads.Another hit by L J Shen.

I found Riggs to be complex — he is so laid back, doesn’t like to be held down by others and has a such a sad past! Duffy was appeared quite shallow at first but once you get to know her she is full of layers. I just loved how sassy she was and how she finally stood her ground to those around her.The dynamic between Riggs and Duffy was just yummy — they made me laugh so much. The chemistry and the tension between them was just *chefs kiss*. Don’t get me started on the spice which was just delicious — I mean the apple picking scene👀🥵.This was such an enjoyable read, the character dynamic was just fun and I loved the cameos from the other Cruel Castaway characters. This read will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions! It’s bittersweet to see this series end but it ended on a high💛💫

Loved Riggs. He is definitely a Casanova. Duffy needed to marry to get a green card to work and stay in America and Riggs needed a wife so he wouldn't need to go to Alaska to work. The way they met wasn't conventional but they turned out to be such a good match for each other. Loved the banter with Duffy and Riggs. I didn't want this book to end. It is funny and emotional and so enjoyable. Well done L j Shen. I loved all three men in this series of Cruel Castaways

So, almost left this book a few times. I get it, Mx Shen is a royalist...namely fans of K&W. A lot of people aren't. It was irritating, the references. But the bit that really tipped me was that you think walking along the Thames and clean air go hand-in-hand. Quite hilarious. However, Riggs was brilliant. Loved his character.

I love this author. The characters have charisma, humorous and heart warming qualities. I am not going to lie. I cry the boy, the teenager and the adult for Riggs Bates. Thank you for a wonderful journey. You are my new author L.J.Shen. This is my second book I have read from your collections.

Almost 5 stars, Just not enough fiery scenes. Something I loved is that the author didn't waste pages fighting over silly misunderstandings like others. All three novels in this series are excellent.

6 stars rating. Do not hesitate, just jump. It’s worth every penny. L. J. Shen at her best. Make sure to organize everything around you, you won’t be able to drop it.

A spin on the proposal that will capture the reader’s attention from the first word. A fast paced story full of feels and emotions. Two endearing and fascinating characters as well as an excellent arrays of side characters.

This book is very well written and full with angst like most of LJ Shen’s books. I can’t say I’m surprised though because I love all of her books.I shed so many tears as always with the author being LJ. I think that’s why I postponed reading this book for a couple of days because her books always make me feel so much, sometimes it gets hard to get in touch with your feelings, like Riggs.I would totally recommend it. ♡
