These bags ripped or decomposed constantly. Nothing quite like your compost spilling all over your floor as you take it out on your way to work!I bought this bag assuming it could hold a large amount of compost which is inevitably going to be wet as the materials start to break down, but even the small bags rip! I now have two unopened boxes that I likely will never use!

I have been using the Bio Bags since they came on the market. Unfotunately, the 13 Gallon bags tear and leak very easily (especially when placing wet scraps or rough rinds like pineapple and watermelon rind). Have just switched to the EcoSafe-6400 bags (also from Amazon). The new bags arrived within two days after I ordered them. I found the EcoSafe bags (side by side comparison) much sturdier.

Bags were kept in a slightly humid environment, and they immediately degraded

I am very Eco friendly and strive to find products that compost ,because the retails store do not offer Eco friendly trash bags. I Love Bio Bags they work great and I use them for every trash can in my house! I would recommend these bags to every one!

They are bio-degradable.

My litter is biodegradable so I certainly didn't want to use plastic bags. These are the perfect weight - and size. I do, however, have to use a heavier weight for general kitchen garbage. BioBag makes them, too. or they did. I can't always find them

Glad they are made with renewable resources but they are quite thin. I wouldn't put anything with pointy edges (folded boxes, etc.) in them. Have been inspired to go bagless in the kitchen.
