I have tried just about everything to try to get rid of the critters in my garden. Apparently they are smarter than I give them credit for because nothing has worked until now. I must admit that I didn't have high hopes for these. The concept seemed a little silly to me, but I was desperate. Much to my surprise, they actually work really well. I no longer see those little creeps messing with my garden and these were such a simple fix. All I had to do was stick it in the ground and turn it on. It's completely solar powered so it charges on its own. It has a motion detector so it turns on when something approaches it. This is important because deer are smart enough to ignore something that is always there. This confuses them because the flashing simulates movement. It also makes noise to frighten them away.

Had feral and neighbor's cats coming into a landscaped area that I spent thousand of dollars on to use it as their personal litter box. Ever morning I would have to go outside and scoop it clean. Really disgusting. Another neighbor lets his stupid obnoxious chihuahua run around day and night and he comes into my yard to poop and alternate charging and barking at me when I am going about my yard tasks like he owns the place. He is afraid of the nasty cats, so of no help at keeping them off "his" property. I trapped 2 of the ferals but now something BIG is eating the bait and is too big for the door of the trap to close, so the trap can't catch cats anymore. I bought this device and I don't have any more poop to clean up plus that stupid chihuahua stays away. If this thing breaks I will be sure to posy an update!

My advice. Do NOT buy this product. I bought 2, there was no soft packing material in the Amazon box so both repeller boxes slammed around in the shipping box during delivery. Unbelievable. One box was pretty damaged. Upon opening, the pointed stake, the third piece of the stake that goes in the ground was missing as was the USB cable. Looking at the product closer, it was used as it had water spots all over it! Wow! Second one, the red light on round sensor during charging, only half of it was lit red. Believe sensor was broken inside. Placed it in the ground after fully charging. Lights don’t flash until you are 3-4 ft. from it. In alarm mode, loud alarm doesn’t go off unless you are 1 ft. away. I caught a Raccoon just staring at it last night from 4 ft. away from it while lights flashed. The alarm did NOT sound in alarm mode. Obviously it doesn’t work. What a disappointment. Returning both for my money back! Think twice before you waste your time, please.

I purchased this solar animal repeller after reading other reviews and researching similar products. This one had the features that I needed, was super easy to assemble/install and so far, has kept the deer out of my hosta garden. I especially like that it's 360 degree coverage and that the sound can be switched off so as not to annoy my neighbors. I actually may purchase another one to help with rabbit control in the spring.

We purchased solar animal repellers for our yard. We’ve tried so many things…even the smelly repellent. The blue light that flashes at night and the white lights that flash when any animals come near has worked amazingly. It even sounds off if the don’t move, but doesn’t wake anyone.We are very pleased with the product, it was recommended by a friend.
