It was given(as it was on her Xmas list) as Christmas present to our 10 granddaughter,and was played buy the 3 other granddaughters on Boxing Day,who all really enjoyed it,so it was requested by our(eldest)14yr.old GD.,as a Birthday present for her next birthday during Jan.'16.

Fantastic family game with a clever mechanism. I am fairly new to board gaming and as much as I like some of the more complicated games I'm always looking for games that can be played and enjoyed by the whole family and this ticks the box big style. The actually game play is quite simple. You are racing to be the first to collect 5 treasures. One is placed on the board and you roll a dice to move. The catch is that under the board is a hidden maze which you construct prior to playing. You can make this as easy or difficult as you like. Each playing piece is a magnet and a large bearing goes under it, should the bearing hit a hidden wall and fall off then that player must return to the start.Therefore this game becomes about trying to memorise where the walls are on your turn and everyone else's. There is an element of luck in the dice rolls and what treasure comes out next but over all this is an easy recommendation for a fun family game. It says ages 6 up but my 5 year old got on fine with it.
