OK as a charging splitter
Works great for doubling doubling the outlets ,Didn’t try it for data transfer.

introduces interference to BT audio transceiver
used to split power supply for a projector aux audio out and a wireless dongle for a projector implementation. Projector has only 1 USB port. So . . . the splitter powers both fine - the audio just had this alternating pulsating humming sound. It goes away when I remove the splitter and plug directly into the single USB port. not an expensive trial.

Did not work with PC devices.
I bought it to act as an easy way to expand the usable USB inputs on my pc. My mouse and keyboard however did not work when using it. I thought it was broken, but when I tried it on a regular phone charger it did work to pass a 5v charge (wasn't enough to power a Chromecast, even though the charger without it would).My product may be defective or maybe that's what the USB splitter intended use is. Regardless it's not worth the hassle to return, but I thought I'd leave this review here to save you the hassle and recommend you buy a proper USB Hub if using it to expand PC inputs is your concern.Otherwise the device seems well constructed and price is low if all you need is that 5v.
