Have just started to use these fittings now spring is here.Very poor quality control of the product they would not fit the 1/4" tubing even after the tube was placed into boiling water. I ended throwing everything away

Very good quality and value for money

I really wanted these to work (the price is right) but I had no idea I needed to shout “By the Power of Greyskull! I have the poweeerrrrrr!” to use rippling He-Man biceps to force these tiny fittings into a 1/4” Rainbird tube. Unfortunately, since I’m pretty far from castle Greyskull my weak and puny arms couldn’t manage mission impossible. I tired soaking the tubes, boiling them and heating them with a lighter to get these to work and was met with epic failure. You get what you pay for and in this case it’s a truckload of misery for fittings that are too difficult to insert. Relief from this torture was found with a $17 package of 50 Rainbird connectors and I was thankful for every piece after this experience. Skip these and save your money unless you’re training for Mr. Universe.

Nice selection of fittings makes for lots of different configurations. Best installation practice is to dip the end of the tube in a cup of hot water before inserting the fitting. Much easier that way.
