Maggift Flat Beater with Flex Edge,Fit for KitchenAid 4.5 and 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer

I bake a lot of cookies and really love how this beater scrapes the bowl but doesn't clog up with batter. Previously I had one of the scraping beaters with the silicone fins sticking out, and didn't like it as the fins would break off when I was mixing dough, I'd have to fish them out of my cookie dough (ugh!), and then the beater wouldn't scrape the bowl well. It also would get dough clogged in the center part and require cleaning out with a knife quite often during the mixing process. It was also a pain to wash! The Maggift Flex Edge Beater is so much easier to wash, I don't have the problem of big globs of dough building up in the center of the beater, and no fins breaking off. I'm a much happier baker now!

The media could not be loaded.  We use our kitchen aid almost daily since making Tortila is prime in our culture. The best part of this beater is the silicon edges which cleans up right after making dough. I will update again in few days as long the consistency remain same and if silicon doesn’t harden up. This accessory is machine washable unlike the original part. It’s not made of metal but some alloy which is not written on the packaging. The grove fit right in the slot and doesn’t get off while machine is running. I am happy with it for now and will try making cake batter or whipping cream which would test the best out of it.

I have the light pink KitchenAid Tilt Head Mixer. I use it a lot and was always frustrated that KitchenAid didn't design a better batter beater to scape the bowl.This one is all plastic and seriously a pain to put on and almost impossible to take off. The plastic "rubber" grabs at the metal and doesn't slide off easily.This beater does not perfectly scrape the edge of the bowl (see attached pictures) but work better than KitchenAid's that never meets the bowl. I gave it three stars for being plastic (not sure how long it will last) and for being a montsterous pain to take off.

I was so excited about this new attachment, I wasn’t sure how well it would scrap the sides and mix off the bowl. I was pleasantly surprised how amazing it worked. It’s light weight and easy to clean. Now I don’t have the fear of scraping the side of my mixing bowl and my spoon getting ripped out of my hand! I will definitely recommend this product! Also I did not have any problems getting that attachment off my mixer. Came off clean and easy!

The last one I bought two years ago the plastic broke. I do like the scraper part, I also learned how to adjustthe height of the mixer beater through buying a new one.I felt that it should have lasted more than two years, but willing to try again.My mixer is 30 plus years old.

Use once and you will never be without this flex edge beater/spatula. I only use normal paddle or whisk for very special reason. For maximum clean bowl adjust the beater by turning a big screw to fit perfectly. Found direction in Kitchen aid booklet.or online. You will take for granted how wonderful and clean; then use someone's mixer without a flex edge. I have now bought three for gifts for other bakers- they are amazed after the first time they use one.

the flex edge worked great for the side of the bowl but didn't mix very well for the bottom of the bowl I still have mix that didn't get to combine with the other mix so I had to mix with the bottom ingredients with a spoon.

I haven’t used this yet but it appears to be the correct fit for my Kitchenaid (Model KSM150) I like the smooth sides to make mixing easier. My model Kitchenaid was not listed as compatible but it appears to be anyway. This is the back of the packaging with the “compatible model numbers”
