Superior item. Good company.
Additional Update:The replacement flashlight has been holding up very well. Charging easily. Being used frequently. As well, I found the old one. Thankfully I hadn't thrown it out. While the battery on that one still absolutely refuses to charge, it also takes... a AA or AAA. And, it works fairly well with it.So, now, I have two of them going. One isn't rechargeable, but it doesn't burn through batteries like some flashlights do. I have a black and orange one. Sometimes I have both on. Gives me a lot of adjustable, handsfree, light. And they are bright enough for any of my needs. Since they did me a good turn, I... wanted to add another plug.---------I received the first one, but the battery wouldn't charge. I tried to return it, ran into all sorts of trouble. Then just ran out of time. I assumed it was a lost cause, so wrote a review. Unlike some companies, they didn't just scramble to figure out how to remove or hide my review, but instead contacted me. Sent me a new one.The second one works perfectly. After the initial charge, I haven't had to recharge since? Crazy, but... And I have it with me as daily wear, and use it quite often. I don't use it as a headlamp, but clip it to my jacket, and use it like a motorcycle's light, centerline, lower. For taking the trash out, on dark mornings... cooking on my griddle later at night, or when dark. Wonderful.I don't know where the first one got to. Didn't realize it took regular batteries. If I find it, I will try that. Still, this one is very good. I am grateful that they took care of the problem. And, now, I am very thankful for the product. It does exactly what I hoped it would do. Just... another good tool, for my odd, sometimes simple, sometimes messy, needs and wants. Very good item.Original Review -"The "chargeable" battery wouldn't take a charge. Had trouble getting a refund ticket, kept dodging an easy way to get it in, so lost my opportunity. Will never buy anything from amazon with those types of batteries. They really jacked me around on a return. Don't buy this thing. It might work, it very well may not. Then good luck doing a return or exchange." - Upgraded from one to five start.

Can't think of a single thing to make it better.
I really don't get the criticisms I've read in other reviews. Maybe it's been updated because I have no problem with the switch nor with fitting to the headband. The switch functionality is great! 2 click turn on prevents accidental on and works flawlessly so far. Long press for lowest setting is great so you have a certainty of getting straight to the lowest setting and still likely to avoid accidental turn on. Double click after the light is on to access turbo also makes sense so that you can cycle through the more commonly used light levels and make a very deliberate action needed for turbo. At this point, I don't forsee using turbo much and unless it's really needed, it depletes the battery so much that it really should be reserved for very limited use.The light is incredibly bright, but with numerous distinct levels to adjust for the circumstances. I haven't tried it for long distance, but at about 45 feet it is very impressive and more than enough at turbo. Beam width is perfect for my needs which will range from camping to car repair. It is also impressively bright when powered by a NiMH AA, although not as blazing as with the 3.7v battery included. The option of using either battery type is yet another super handy feature.Others have mentioned having to remove the pocket clip to place the light into the headband, but that isn't necessary. It isn't very difficult to pull the clip out from the body of the light and slip the rubber ring under it as you slide the light into the first ring. It does take two hands, but it really isn't difficult and only takes a few seconds. I'm used to my old headlight that has the band permantly attached, so if I'm going back and forth between headband use and handheld, I just take the headband off my head and let it dangle or bunch it up into my hand while holding the light that way - no biggie for me. YMMV.All in all, I highly recommend this light! It has a 5 year warranty, so I'm hoping for longevity and reliability and will update this review if needed - no news is good news!

A lot of light for the money.
This is a bright, versatile, and very well executed light. With one very annoying QAQC flaw. If the end cap for the battery uncrews even just the slightest little bit. (Which it will all the time.) The light won't turn on. Even if you tighten the cap as tight as possible. There isn't enough friction to keep it on tightly. And the circuit contact surface is so miniscule that even the slightest bump will cause the circuit to open.Save for this one flaw. The light is nearly perfect for edc. And has replaced the much more expensive Fenix light I've been carrying for years.

Decent light and gift.
I got this light on sale for $26. At that price I HIGHLY recommend. It fits in my EDC sheath nicely with zebra pen and multitool. It comes with a type C lithium battery but also accepts AA and will run on a AAA in a pinch. You just have to wrap the AAA with something to keep it from moving around and losing connection. It’s a sturdy little guy and has pretty intuitive controls. It does not seem to be affected by water or drops. I do wish battery life was longer but for the size battery it has, it’s decent duration. I would never pay full price for this light however. ($50+ I think). If I was getting that high in price I would get the similar O-Light that runs on cr123a. (I have one and it is night and day comparatively.) But I wanted something more affordable incase of loss, and that would run on a more standardized and widely found across the globe battery. Solid job AceBeam.

The brightest, smallest flashlight u can buy.
This light is lightweight, easy to carry and 1000 lumens bright. With the added rechargablity factor, definitely worth the money. I love it and have bought it again and again.

Bright for this size
This flashlight have everything, a clamp, a magnetic, and it's pretty bright. Only down side will be the battery can only be charged through usb c, not like the traditional 18650 charger. P.S. AA battery also works but light will be dimmer.

Must have

Calidad

Outstanding value
I bought this for my partner, I use a similar product from a premium brand and apart from having a couple of usefull extra features, this is almosr as good for half the price. Rechargeable batter is okay, not huge capacity, but this is more than made up for by the fact that it will work with any AA battery. You can carry on using this torch with a standard AA whilst you recharge the inculded battery which has its own inbuilt charger. The warm light colour is perdect, I don't like the very white LED colour that many torcges have. The power modes are well spaced and control is not over complicated. For the price this is a solid option. Well built and well thought out.
