This is a lovely kit for getting the whole family involved in to create truly individual festive lanterns which can be used to decorate your home. The pack contains 12 pre-cut card blanks in four different designs, together with an assortment of brightly coloured tissue paper to infil the open sections and create an attractive stained glass effect. The lanterns can be further embellished using glitter, sequins or spangles, depending on the age and skill level of the child ~ they also look particularly effective when lined with foil mesh. The black and metallic gold card lantern blanks are die cut to shape but the removable sections are still in place and these can be used for fun collages and crafty activities once they have been pushed out. The festive designs include Christmas trees, Xmas bells, holly, candles and stars. The lantern blanks come in 4 different designs which measure approx. 21.5cm x 9cm, 25cm x 6cm, 25cm x 9cm and 25cm x 10cm and produce two four sided lanterns, one five sided lantern and a circular lantern. Full instructions are also included. Glue is required but not supplied. As with all craft activities, adult supervision is recommended with young children. Glue and paint may stain so precautions should be taken to protect clothing and furnishings. Ages: 3+
