I have owned more than half a dozen reacher grabbers. Some are not sturdy enough, some use a clumsy gripper on some of the grippers just popped off, or the cable broke.This one seems to be the best I have owned. It's long enough, and sturdy enough for items that are a little heavy. The grabber is reliable. In comparison to all the others, this one is five star.

They work very well. movable 90 degree head.

This grabber grabs great-- the mechanism of the grippy part is far better than other grippers. I could use it to grab thin sheets of paper and full bottles of water. It doesn't feel as sturdy as other grippers, so I had to use two hands sometimes when trying to lift a bottle. I also love the clip, which I could use to clip onto my cane. Unfortunately I leaned on the gripper, as if it were my cane, and broke it. It's not meant to be used as a cane, obviously! I did love it so much. I can still use it, having broken one of the claws, but only with gravity assist, and for very lightweight things.

I found it to be very good but not as strong as a non folding type

Works very well. Easy to use and just the right length. However the cable has snapped inside at the handle rendering unusable. This it the second one that did the same thing. All I was using it for was picking up large leaves in the yard. Buyer beware. Thank God I wasn’t using it to grad something heavy above my head.
