Superior ThreadsOmni 40-Weight Polyester Sewing Quilting Thread Cone 6000 Yard (#3024 Medium Gray)

I sent 3 spools (different colors) of this thread to my daughter. She quilts for her family and is always sewing. I originally bought her a beautiful quilting machine for her birthday and she has not stopped sewing. We bought large spools of thread which last to the point that you no longer worry about thread. She lives very rural to shopping and when she called upset about running out of thread and the problems with smaller spools - well the solution you are looking at is not only reasonable but the thread is the best! It is strong, unwinds as it should both for slow and fast seamstresses but the colors are brilliant and washable. I never buy anything else.

I try to support my local quilt shops buy they were out of white. This does not break. I have bought many various brands over the years and have finally decided to suck it up and pay for quality. I sew tons for charity almost daily and this makes me happy to not have to stop and rethread.

I gave it three stars, but I wasn't sure how to rate it. The thread itself is fine. But I ordered it thinking the color would match the thread for Air Force OCP name tapes. It does not. It is absolutely, positively the wrong color. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is thinking when he says it's a perfect match. If he considers that a perfect match, then he probably considers purple and lavender to be the same color. No insult intended, but it's the truth.

Omni has and is my favorite machine quilting thread. I have fewer thread-breakage issues than with some of their competitors. And the Antique Gold color is a client favorite of late. Honestly one of the best threads on the market in my opinion.

I purchased this brand because I can always trust the quality. I use it in my long arm machine. The bobbins wind smoothly and no thread breaks on top thread.

Live the Omni thread for longarm quilting. Low lint and wonderful color selection. Handles the high tension needed on the longarm. Very little thread breakage.

I use a lot of Superior Omni thread in my longarm and love it! But.... The thread is not smooth as I know omni threads to be. There are little balls along the thread constantly and I'm having some breakage issues. This is not what I expected, it's got to be a bad batch. Going to try and exchange it for another black.

Very good quality thread, smooth feeding in my Brother PQ1500SL. Almost no lint which is a big plus when quilting!

Bad quality thread. Thread thickness is not consistent. I got lot of skipped stitches(doesn’t happen when I use gutermann) When using it and it’s ruined my projects before I realized the thread isn’t good quality.

The thread is strong and nice to work with.

This was not the brand superior threads and was not 6000 yds
