Lovely scented light gel, better for younger skin
Wow, this is the biggest jar of cream I think I've ever had - at 100ml it's over 3 times larger than the standard 30 ml jars. It also comes with a sample of LX NEW activator, although with the instructions mostly being in Korean, I didn't understand how/if to combine all three products. But that aside, this is an amazing deal, even at full price. The Collagen Hydra Gel has a really wonderful and non-obtrusive scent - it's a little citrus, a little floral, and all-around pleasant (and I have a strong nose usually turned off by smells). It's lightweight, and its texture is like a whipped gel (looks true to the product page photos). I'd compare it to the "water creams" that are so hot right now, but this is at a much lower price considering its size. That said, as much as I like the smell and feel of it, as a middle-aged woman, I'd say it's not moisturizing enough for me and is probably better targeted for younger, less dry, skin. But I knew nothing of this brand beforehand and am happy to have discovered it. PS - the vitamin cream in the sampler is richer and I'd say moisturizing enough for dry skin, so that's probably my next purchase!

A 3-part skin routine you apply at once.
This is a nicely-packaged set of Korean skin care. It has a small tube of a vitamin C cream, a smaller dropper-bottle of an orange clear liquid they call the activator that you put on with it, and then step 3, whiich you can also use alone, is a big (100 ml) jar of 'Vital collagen hydra gel cream'.Most everything is explained in Korean, but the packaging does have a sticker on the outer wrapper in English. It's very tiny print, so I needed a magnafying glass to read how to use these. I used the liquid and the cream from the tube really sparingly, but it spread really well, so I got it on my face and neck, omitting my nose and chin, because I have oily skin there, and right now it's summer and I don't have air conditioning, so it's in the upper 80°f in my house during the day (and much hotter outside!), so I can't wear anything except sunscreen when I go out, and that by itself just makes my skin shiny and feel gross!I used this during the day, inside my house, with no makeup. Steps 1 and 2, despite using very little, seemed to sit on my skin rather than absorbing, so when it came to step 3, the collagen cream, i used that only on my neck and around my eyes and my outer cheeks, because I was already feeling like I had a heavy coating on my face from the first two products alone. I loved the light gel consistancy of the collagen gel. I will probably use some of that as a hydrator during the day, but the first two steps only at night, because the sticky, tacky feeling of it on my skin never went away. It's not a product that you enjoy having on your skin when it's hot and you are sweating just when relaxing!. And parts 1 and 2- use them as sparingly as possible! Too much is not a comfortable feeling, at all. It sounds like it's formulated to work in conjunction with each other, but it's probably most helpful on dry skin, aging skin, and as a night treatment. I may use the collagen gel on my dryer facial areas during the day before a sunscreen and makeup application. But this is definately a set for winter months, not hot, humid summer heat.I will use this nightly for a while and some of the collagen gel during the day too, and report back any positive results I see. I definately like the big jar of collagen gel, but that doesn't seem to be sold seperately. It looks like it will last months! I am sure if this is quality Korean skin care that the first two parts are beneficial too, I just wish the insert that seems to tell all about it and exactly how and when to use it was in English, because the outer sticker that was, only gave one short senttance for each product! Typical...

NIce set, odd smells
The Isa Knox set is nice because it comes with multiple different products, the little serum ampoule, the vitamin c cream and the big tub of vital collagen cream. Both items in the LXnew box say "activator" on them which its a bit unclear overall the order of which you should use any or all of these 3 items in. I assumed the little vita max ampoule would be first as it is a serum of sorts, followed by the vitamela cream and then the vital collagen but the boxes do not do a good job in clarifying that. The vita max ampoule just says apply evenly to face and then the other two items say "as the last step of skincare routine, apply...." So it leaves you to wonder should you do the ampoule and vitamela cream say, at night, and the Vital Collagen by its self in the morning? Not really sure. All three items come attractively packaged. The Vital Collagen is in a generous size tub, although some of it is an illusion in how the tub is made (look at the bottom of the tub to see the inner portion filled with cream, the outer 1/2 inch or so of the container is a ring of clear plastic). I find that the products do moisturize well but overall when using all three together they are quite sticky/tacky and looks shiny or oily and it does not absorb well. When used by itself, either the vitamela cream or the vital collagen seems less tacky though. I've just used these items at night to avoid the overly shiny oily look during the day. On to the smells of the products - the vita max ampoule has an odd smell to me, that almost gives me undertones of bacon but not in a good way. The vitamela cream smells nicely of orange and citrus, and is the only one out of the group i can put on my face and feel like the smell doesn't make me turn up my nose. The vital collagen tub personally doesn't have the best smell either, it seems to be a bit citrusy but gives me a bit of a medicated cream undertone rather than just a fresh clean fragrance. All three are so significantly different that when you combine them all in your skincare routine, personally its not a good mix for the nose. Overall I'm not a fan of this set for the lack of detail in how to use in your skincare routine, the way these products seem to sit on top of my skin leaving a sticky feel and overly shiny appearance, and the off-putting smells.
