The Mastercoat plaster is naturally an off-white color. All of our dry mixes are natural white limestone in color. Colorants are used to tint the plaster if desired.

Can this product be used as a finished shower floor and placed over existing grouted tile in shower?

If it were me I would remove the grouted tile. All plaster is rigid by nature. Any movement will cause material to crack. Removing the tile should expose the cement float that was used to set your original tile. After removing any excess old grout and adhesive material remaining the shower floor should be ready to go. I would use the company's primer first then Master Coat then finish with Fine Coat product. Just remember! Always apply material in thin coats...

Can this product be applied over existing tile?

Yes, however you first need to apply a bonding primer. We highly recommend the Insl-X Stix Waterborne Bonding Primer. Thank you for your question.

Is it micre cement? What colors does it come in? Aprox aurface covering?

No, it is not micro cement. Mastercoat is made of lime and can be tinted to a variety of colors with our Vasari Colorants. One bag of Mastercoat covers 50 Sq ft with the recommended two coat application.
