I had to cut the existing ones out because they were taught in there and rushed it in and I couldn’t get them out and I did have to do some straightening of the pocket but after doing that these fit beautifully they will fit it just that if your pocket is bent a little bit, you may have to do a little modifying to get them in but other than that they are the right ones for a 1990 Ford F250

I was told that this was not compatible with my 2022 F150 Platinum Powerboost. The installation went fine. To gain the needed angle you need to remove the 2 screws and pull up on the loop. It drops right in place. Hold loop up and reinstall screws when both sides are in place in fender. It will be obvious when you look at it what I mean. My 5.5' bed only uses 2 hold downs in the rear. A mid-point opening would have been great but I'll take the rear only over nothing. Make sure you tighten down both screws on each side and periodically check the tightness since road vibration can loosen screws over time. These were invaluable to me while transporting 4 mounted truck tires in the bed with heavy rope to tie them down with using the loops. Yes, I do have tie downs in the bed but sometimes the bed is so full thy arent that accessable while these are open and available. Even better, they drop down to make the rail flush. One note, I do have a foldable rigid bed cover that does NOT interfere with these! Good purchase!
