Ok
These seeds don't do well im early spring. Sow a couple outside and all died.

Overall, I'm a big fan!
Germination rate was poor, and I certainly didn't count the seeds to ensure we received as many as promised in the listing! However, greens can be more challenging to grow during the hot days of summer, and these help that along- a nice compliment to my foraged greens!

Easy to grow
I like it bcz starting growing after 5 days I sowed it to my garden vegetables beds.

Worst seeds
There are very few seeds in the bag. After planting them, very few grew out. I would strongly recommend include more seeds in the bag in case we have limited of them grow out.

Germinating well
I did not count the seeds to make sure I got 600, but just from appearance I can tell that I have several hundred in the pack. Comes in a nice resealable bag. I just sowed these a few weeks ago; I was waiting for temps to drop a little bit before attempting to grow these. I had these in a container that gets watered daily (I know from experience that water spinach needs a lot of water to grow well) but nothing was happening. Then it dawned on me, maybe it's not getting enough sun/heat. As soon as I moved the container into full sun (after a week in the shade) I got a few sprouts within a few hours and by the next day all seeds had sprouted. So tip: grow these in full sun with plenty of water. Day temps have been in the 70-80s here, 50-60s at night.

Great germination rate even though the weather has been dry
I got these seeds quite a while ago, when I was optimistic about getting my greens in the ground early this year. Alas, one thing and another distracted me, and I did not get around to planting *anything* until the end of May. Also, the day I planted was the day after the last big rain storm we had in the Shenandoah Valley, so it has been dry and also surprisingly cool for this time of year. Having read up on Chinese Water Cabbage (also known as Kong Xin Cai and Ong Choy), I know the plants prefer humid weather and like lots of water, so I am beyond pleased that these seeds have germinated well and started growing despite the current weather. The plants are not yet big enough to harvest and taste, but I am so delighted by the germination rate in less than ideal conditions that I thought I would go ahead and give them a thumbs-up. I am looking forward to cooking with this new-to-me green this summer!
