My face can’t get enough of these oils—I have been using the Coconut and Tea Tree for about three months now.I’m 37 now, but my skin started to rebel on me in my late 20s. So now I have sensitive, dehydrated, acne-prone, combination skin, and finding the right products for all those specifications can be quite a challenge. It has been a difficult, and often devastating journey, which has impacted all aspects of my life.Discovering this line of products/oils, which I originally did at Marshall’s, was a total game changer for me. I have managed to tame down my hormonal breakouts, my skin is noticeably smoother, and my hyperpigmentation spots are slowly, but surely, fading.These past few years have taught me four very important things when it comes to problematic facial-skin:1. Time and patience are key—there are no miracle overnight products that will fix problematic skin. This is a very hard thing to accept, but the sooner you do, the sooner you will be able to get on the right path to clear, healthy skin. Go easy on your skin, harsher/stronger/“faster-working” products often do more damage than good.2. What you put ON your face is just as important as what you put IN your body. For me, it is a simple—but key essential—matter of drinking more water.3. Sleep, sleep, sleep! If you’re not getting enough restful sleep, then dealing with your problematic skin will be much, much more difficult. I have found that lack of sleep severely worsens my skin problems.4. Just because a product genuinely works for many other people, doesn’t mean it will work for you. You have to find what is right for you. However, this can result in lots of “trial and error” purchases, which can add up to a lot of money; and, if you’re like me, that is something most of us simply cannot afford. You can significantly avoid this and reduce money spent, by becoming familiar with return & refund policies. This is KEY!!! Many, many companies will give you a full refund on open and partially used products. Amazon has a great such policy on most products, and the majority of times, you don’t even have to pay for return shipping (they will email you a printable free-postage label). Since my sensitive skin often reacts to certain products/ingredients these refund policies have been life-savers for me.Those are my two-cents on the matter of skin problems and the many products out there. It’s all based on personal experience and not universal facts... but if it can in any way help someone who’s struggling with problematic skin, then I believe it’s worth sharing. Great hydration and scent.Didn't give it a 5, as I prefer the scent of the Mirth Rosehip oil, which also has some actual rose scent as well in it.
