If you’ve spent some time behind an airless sprayer, you know about line twists. Putting this swivel on the line allows the twisting and kink potentials to swivel around and work themselves out before coiling up.I’ve gotten used to just giving the gun a few swivels periodically to help keep it straight, however having a swivel is pretty nice at keeping the 25’ hose coil and kink free. Just using one on either side of the line is all that is required to do its job.I do have the concern of leak potential and longevity of this swivel coupler. And, I'm not a big fan of adding components in the high pressure paint line (that requires maintenance) Once I have more time behind it and through use and cleanings, I’ll update the review with any pertinent findings.

I got these for a friend of mine who is a painter haven’t had any complaints said that they work well with the tools that he has for his sprayer and he hasn’t had any issues

These worked great on my airless paint sprayer and are a must when painting your house. There's nothing worse than fighting a hose when painting your house; the job is already fun enough as it is. It's also nice to have a total of 100 feet of hose too.

Leaked no matter what I did, bought another thinking this one was bad, nope they leak from the threads, changed the washer, added a washer, used Teflon tape, nope! Leaks no matter what.Name brand swivel is 5 times more expensive, I guess for a good reason. Then to add insult to injury, I missed the return window…

Leaks and rust easily

In between is a high pressure hose.High pressure hoses are constructed in such a way that they cannot twist or kink without being permanently damaged. So, any twists that get into the hose during use, or when the hose is extended out after being coiled up for storage, must be manually untwisted, so as to prevent kinking.An alternative to manual untwisting is to put one of these "hose swivel" fittings at one or the other end of the high pressure hose, or...particularly for extra long hoses...at both ends. Hose swivels allow free rotation of a hose-line-element on either size of the swivel, without the remainder of the hose-line having to be rotated. So, any twisting in the hose-line just untwists itself with no special effort on your part, and no wasted time. Easy-peasy.

If working in paint these are essential to helping keep your spray handle, or nozzle level. No more kinks in the hose or line.Meditate, shacks from quality, you are definitely need to use teflon tape to create a tighter seal.
