It all started with a flight on United Airlines. The snack they were serving was a chocolate quinoa cookie. Chocolate and quinoa don't even sound like they belong in the same sentence, let alone together in a COOKIE. But I was desperate, so I tried one. The rest is history. I have fallen in love with chocolate quinoa cookies, but the DIY in me said I should be able to make these myself.After too much time spent on Pinterest I tried my hand at cooking quinoa in a fry pan, you know, like you do with popcorn. After much disappointment and too many housemember complaints of "what's burning" I felt defeated and searched for pre-puffed quinoa.This product is where I landed. It is actually delicious on it's own, or on salad or probably many other uses, but we know I was not to be diverted. I melted my ghirardelli chocolate chips, and added these lovely puffed quinoas, with a touch of salt and Voila! Delicous chocolate quinoa cookies. Thanks United Airlines.

I got these to sprinkle on top of some of my infant son's food. I thought they would be a fun way to add some texture to some nut butters and other softer foods that he likes to eat. When he is a little bigger I'll serve them as cereal with milk. Overall very happy with this very large bag of crispies!

I like it with plain yogurt as a topping with a bit of maple syrup but it's too darn expensive to eat on a regular basis. It has no inherent sweetness so you can add this to a variety of desserts with your sweetener of choice. But why is it so expensive?

This bag is enormous. The quinoa is beautifully puffed, with the appropriate crispy cereal experience. So far the closure is working well to keep it fresh. I don't regret paying a little more after comparing reviews.

Needed puffed quinoa for a recipe and found this on amazon. It arrived quick, the quinoa is great and the company even reached out to give thanks for the purchase which was a very nice touch.
