Hoover440006633 Clean Solution F7220/F7425/F7205 Tank, Clear

I’ve had my Hoover steam cleaner for carpets for well over 25 yrs. The seal on the cleaning solution side was broken causing the solution to pour out during use. The water chamber seal was fine. Otherwise the cleaner was in great shape. This replacement tank looks slightly different (the original one was a translucent blue and this one is clear) but other than that, it’s the same and it works and fits great! Happy to have only spent $65 rather than buy a new machine.

The valves on these carpet cleaners are known to fail. Also, the plastic around the valves can fail. This replacement tank was a perfect fit and function to get my carpet cleaner back up and running. Works as expected. I recommend this if you need a replacement.

Our Hoover Rug Cleaner has been around for a while. We are pleased to see that this container is still available! We tested it on our kitchen floor. The little plastic caps on the soap and water containers have changed but that doesn't affect the fit. I liked the old caps though, for these are a little tricky to get on just right. The plastic mold of the bucket appears to be more sturdy than our original one. Thanks for making these available.

When I opened the box I was kinda concerned because there wasn't anything to protect it other than a bag around it. I haven't used my machine yet to say how it is... But I'm so excited! It fits my model that isn't listed. Was nervous that it wouldn't. The old tank seals failed and it would leak considerably from the soap section. I'm happy to have a replacement! Cheaper than just getting a new machine. I'll give an update once all the carpets have been cleaned.

Our tank dark gray color was leaking. I assumed it was from valves, got valves replaced them and still leaking.Them I noticed a hairline crack in the bottom that went near valve. You can see the hairline cracks from “closet wear” in the picture without the top handle.Works great, much better than patching the old tank. It is all done just take the handle off the old tank and put it on the new one.No more leaks

With the first time use of the floor cleaner the original tank was cracked so water went everywhere. This replacement tank fit better than the original and is more durable than the original!

Upon receipt of the item I opened the box on the kitchen counter. When I lifted the plastic bag it was wrapped in the bottom of the bag ripped open and unit fell on the floor. The handle broke in 3 pieces

It should come with the handle too, but didn't. Good way to make money on this by selling the handle separately. Bad ideal.
